Coding with KParts

The problem with all of this is how heavy it is to run a kde program. I am a fan of the fast lightweight programs even if I do have a decent computer. I prefer blackbox, rxvt and so on. While I appreciate the "beauty" of kde and the work the project does for attracting users to linux for desktops, I hate how long it takes to load up and then don't even think about using an app without using the whole kde environment.
My only problem with it is how slow it is, but I guess that's a little unfair for the features that it comes with...
