Make Your Own Transparent iBook
Blackstealth sent in linkage to an attractive and clever
mod for the Apple iBook. The TronBook
takes the idea of a transparent iBook
and takes it a few steps further. I wish we'd see more laptop mods of this
quality.
So if I drop it what happens?
This forum is different from other forums. There are no moderators. Everyone is equal. Everyone is responsible and accountable for what they post. The goal of this site is an open exchange of ideas and information among a like-minded and open-minded group of people. Such a site as this has became necessary for those who have been mistreated or unfairly banned at other forums. Here they have the opportunity to express themselves and to set the record straight about the actions of which they have been accused. Mature people do not need someone else to decide what they can and can't read, or can and can't say. This forum was founded because negative moderator action at certain sites have caused people to be alienated and driven away. There is a need for such a site as this because the attitudes of some moderators in general seem to be getting worse, as they become aware of the absolute power that have been bestowed on them. There are many good, competent moderators that perform their function fairly and justly, but the few that develop an inflated sense of superiority make it difficult or impossible for those they victimize to participate in the discussions. This site is a place to share ideas freely and without fear of retribution. The fact that this site has no owner or moderators distinguishes it from every other forum site I have visited. The decisions for new features and modifications will be made by consesnsus among the members (along with a consideration of the feasibility of implementation), not dictated by a single person or clique. At this site there are no watch lists, no post deletions or editing of posts by anyone other than the original author, and no bans. The flame posts are chosen by voting by all members and you have the choice of how many negative votes a post can have before you don't see it. There are some features of this site which serve to protect its members from negative moderator action at any other forums they might frequent. One is that only logged in members can see the member list and which members are visiting the site. This will prevent a moderator from another forum visiting and recording the names of the members and then proceeding to give them a hard time at their own forum, putting them on watch lists, editing their posts, etc, which has happened in the past. The forums which might contain sensitive topics are also only visible to logged in members.
first mutha fuckin' ac post
This is one of the more interesting apple modifications I've seen.
Why don't people work on improving GNOME and/or KDE instead of wasting their time on marginal hacks like this?
Thats fucking weird
Like we can all read Jap.
I don't even know what the fuck the site has to say. Any Jap to real world translators out there?
I wish case mods had their own topic so I could
block them and never see them again.
Yea, I miss Quickies too. They were cute. One long list of funny links.
Btw: I am looking for a girlfriend.
