    TOON is a cartoon role-playing game designed by Greg Costikyan and developed by Warren Spector. Had many fun sessions playing this a long time ago now.
    This would be well suited to a MMORPG, no one dies and it is designed to be fun.

    In Australia it has stopped people buying GTA San Andreas as it has been banned.

    From being one of the most popular titles and only recently released on Xbox, to Zero sales isn't good for any company.

    The market for second-hand copies is strong.!

    Ah, its not for 3 months work. They have been trying to find a develepor for 3 months to do the work and they haven't found one so they are calling off the search. Palm are including Bluetooth in the next Treo model so it kind of defeats the purpose of the bounty.

    The new Treo model will have built-in Bluetooth so for most owners they will probably upgraded to the latest model meaning there will not be reduced demand for bluetooth for the older model. Didn't seem to get a mention in the article.
    They haven't found a developer to take on the task in 3 months. It doesn't mean it would take 3 months to develop

    Being related to one of the lead actors :) - I can confirm they have completed principal photography and it is now in post production eg add the special effects.

    The article is wrong, the AU$3,500 is an annual figure for 1GB of data per month including the Linux router and network management.

    Still not cheap but OK for remote rural areas that can't get ADSL. Note the Linux router suppliers make a good proportion of it ($1K pa).

    There is a great song/comedy sketch by an Australian group called Tripod about a guy who is 'gonna make sweet love to his lady' just after this level. Heaps of other references, basically ends in saying he loves his Xbox more than chicks.
    Can't find an mp3 on the net. They recently played it at Melbourne International Comedy Gala.

    You need a W2K3 server license, TS CALs and Win2k3 Cals. You also require licenses for individual application licenses for each client accessing server. ie if you run Outlook or Office on the server each client needs a license for Outlook or Office.
    Terminal Services isn't much cheaper if you do it legally.

    Standard Xbox already does 480p resolution for all games and some games have support 1080i resolution.
    See Xbox FAQ for more.
    My bet is the latest Halo 2 multiplayer screenshot is a 1080i image which explains the details.
    Pretty safe bet Xbox Next will have at least the same HDTV support.

    I don't know it works fine with Mozilla Firebird with Shockwave plugin.

    In fact the Terra Brasil ad in the Technology section (what its doing there I have no idea), was quite good.
