Duffy of id software. 10 questions asked, 10 answers given. I write this on behalf of The New True Troll Legion and our allies. If you've not yet allied yourself with The New True Troll Legion, there's no better time than the present: all your friends are doing it!
Take a look at this Kuro5hin fuckhead who claims/admits that he is Lockwood.
I was starting to strongly suspect it based on a number of his posts, such as that he lost his job on the exact same day Lockwood was fired from his for gross incompetence... he has similar political views to Lockwood... he uses the same insults, poor grammar, etc., and he has the same general asshole complex. He regularly moderates up the Geekizoid circle of shitflooders and spammers, such as Shoebot and TheGayLantern.
I was piecing together all this evidence to make a solid case that this fuckwit is Scott, but then one of the Associates pointed out to me that I didn't have to: he made a blatant fucking admission.
What can I say? GET HIM.
NEVER forget or forgive what Lockwood did. In 2000, he followed us from one hidden Sid to another harassing us: they'd stay secret for weeks or months until somebody messed up and posted logged in, and then Lockwood would be upon us again.
Finally we fled to the mailing list to get away from him, and he felt so shunned and rejected that he fell into a deep depression and, so the legend goes, tried to kill himself. When he awoke from his drug-induced coma, he tried to ingratiate himself with the trolls, but they still rejected him and wouldn't let him onto the mailing list. After another suicide attempt, Scott Lockwood decided to form his own band of "trolls" and you know the result: a forum devoted to shitflooding, spamming, homophobia, anti-Semitism, racism, denial-of-service attacks, and other abusive, illegal, childish stuff.
Everything that Lockwood has done will be repaid to him tenfold. For every forum he has spammed, his forum will be spammed ten times. For every life he has ruined, his own life and the lives of his friends will be ruined ten times over.
Scott Lockwood followed us from one hidden Slashdot sid to another to harass us, and now we have the chance to do the same to him: we will follow him from one Kuro5hin nickname to another to harass him; we will ALWAYS find out who he is, eventually, no matters how much he tries to hide it. The tables have turned, and we will hunt him to the end of the earth until he goes away forever. And if he never goes away, he will hunt him forever, and have fun doing it.
What can I say? GET HIM.
Speaking only for myself, this is the most fun I've had in years. Lockwood, leave the scene, get off the Internet, and get a life. Or keep it up... we'll keep it up too. We're more patient than you, we're more determined than you, and there are more of us than you. Give it up, keep it up... it's up to you.
