Microsoft's Guide to Accepting Donated PCs
An anonymous reader links us to Microsoft's Guide to Accepting Donated Computers
for Your School, which contains humorous statements such as
"If a company or individual donates a machine to your school, it must be donated with the operating system that was installed on the PC. "
It's just an amusing little read that basically amounts to keeping the license
with the PC. Also neglects to mention the Naked PC discussed in this slashdot story.

Don't read this!
I know this is off-topic, but I need to know.
Is slashdot using pop-up ads now?
I had my browser parked on slashdot.org and when I came back to my computer I had 5 pop-up ads that I needed to close.
MILAN, Italy (CNN) -- A small plane has hit a skyscraper in central Milan, setting the top floors of the 30-storey building on fire and killing at least two people.
But, if you were to ask me if this was an ACCIDENTAL misstatement on this web site, I would have to say I'm not very sure at all. The misinformation is clearly in their benefit: schools relying on this web site for information will incorrectly believe that they can't accept any PCs that don't have the pre-installed OS, which essentially locks them into a MS only solution. And when minsinformation publicly presented by a company leads to a benefit to that company, I get angry, whether the misinformation was intentionally presented or not.
