Two Towers Teaser Trailer

SicariusMan writes "Seems there is a Two Towers teaser out at movie-list.com. Thank goodness for the CrossOver Plugin." And Astin writes "Ain't it cool news has a list of mirrors showing the new LoTR trailer. More action and burning and orcs, etc, etc, etc."

    This is news? The teaser for the Two Towers movie has been out for a looong time. It can be found at most bookstores. Unless you want to call that a pre-view, or a novelization. You don't NEED teasers for movies of classic books if you can read.

    Okay, I *know* that everyone who's read LOTR *knows* Gandalf comes back as Gandalf the White and kicks some big-time ass. Those who *didn't* read and had the LOTR movie as their first and only exposure to Tolkein didn't!

    My wife asked me, at the end of LOTR, "He's not really dead is he?"

    "Of course he's dead, dear," I replied. "Didn't you see that great big pit he fell into? Even if he somehow managed to survive the fall, don't you think the Balrog would have survived it too?"

    So here they come and spoil the fuck out of it for the non-readers with the damn trailer. Thanks a whole fucking lot, Peter Jackson.

    (Seriously, looks like PJ and the actors have done some world class work here. Can't wait till X-Mas!)

      Err...speaking as someone who has not read past FotR and who has not yet seen the trailer for The Two Towers, I have to say that your post was every bit as much a spoiler as the trailer. There were other posts in this thread that stated that there were spoilers in the trailer without spelling out what they were. So I guess to paraphrase:

      Thanks a whole fucking lot, Bonker.

    I've got a high quality SVCD DVD RIP on 4CDS. It looks nearly as good as the DVD would if it was released.

    Probably the same reason I do: $10 for stupid hollywood crap.

    ummm... yeah and uh... something to do with DivX or something like that too...

    Last movie I was glad I paid for was The Royal Tennenbaums. Though I missed Amelie, and everyone who knows my tastes said that I would have loved it.

    Spider-Man just freaked me out. You could see my dorm window in the background of one of the early shots. Most movies say they're filming at Berkeley or "Ithica" or wherever, but just show some movie set. When Spider-Man said "Columbia," they meant Columbia. Except for the spider lab in Low Library, what was up with that?
