Equally unsurprising, Microsoft disagrees with them. And so the Case-That-Wouldn't-Die drags ever onward."

and they are now locking the doors.
Did you never wonder why it was so easy
to get copies of Windows on CD-ROM?
We have gotten used to needing Service Packs
in order to get working software
and 95% of users will download whatever SP
Microsoft says they must.
Bait with version X, SP installs version Y.
What if the DoJ rules it's illegal?
Ask 50m users to de-install?
