Microsoft Talks Handhelds, Xbox Linux
Thanks to an anonymous reader for pointing to a Canada.com interview with Xbox head honcho Robbie Bach, which shoots him some wide-ranging and perceptive questions about Microsoft's console strategy. Interesting answers include whether Microsoft wants to get into the handheld console market ("It's like starting a new business...we will focus on making the current Xbox successful."), and their views of Linux for Xbox ("..the numbers are not really that big. It's not a commercial as much as it is an intellectual property issue and we always pursue those.")
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Good, I can't stand Nintendo and their holier-than-thou zealots that spew their fucking X-Box hating bullshit constantly. This might get them to shut the fuck up because MS beat Nintendo. The Gamecube is the worst fucking console ever and I can't fucking stand the sight of it or the fucking fanboys who play them and insist it is the best. I take that back, it's not really the console's fault... but I can't fucking stand the god damn fanboys who insist the new Zelda game is the most amazing game ever like I give a fuck. Something tells me that they are just saying that because it is Zelda and it was made by Nintendo and they all desperately wanted Nintendo to rebound from Majora's Mask and so they just convinced themselves that it was the greatest game ever. This is just one of the many little things that Nintendo fanboys do to piss me off, so don't bother picking this one very tiny example apart. It was just the first to come to mind.
In conclusion, I can't fucking stand ignorant zealots that just follow their company of choice around like a puppy and drool like a fucking retard. Hopefully I am not the only one, and if I am, well... that is what the +1 Fuck You is for.
stop running Win9x and stop giving a stupid joke that died with WinNT based WinOSs.
just like they went after the intellectual property belonging to Apple and Linux.
At least Sony supports Linux and supports, for the most part, the right of its customers to tinker.
What else should we expect from MS except for Fear & Control and all of those things we hate, but when has it been any different?
Thanks, GJC

why would MS lose money? They can easily make money nowadays on that little box - it's cheap hardware today. And it IS easy to find an old p200 or somthing like that for a router. You must not be looking hard.
