  1. Advertise it on Slashdot on How Do You Re-Sell a Domain Name? · · Score: 5, Funny

I would advertise the domain on Slashdot. It has a far higher readership than other any site that might show up in something like a Google search for "How to sell a domain name", and its far more likely to get posted by the moderators compared to other sites like kuro5hin or digg.

  3. VMWare ahead of Xen eh? on VMWare Rolls Out Their Largest Product Release · · Score: 0, Flamebait

Nice advertisement for VMWare, but Xen destroies VMWare in every benchmark I've yet seen. I understand they are taking different approaches, but with new CPUs supporting Intel's VT VMWare's OS advantage suddenly disappers. It should be a huge red flashing sign since VMWare's license doesn't allow benchmarks to be published. This page shows VMWare can compete in some places, but is pathetic in others. I don't know what makes them claim ESX server so much better than Xen, maybe they are trying to say VMWare is more stable? Because from my testing, Xen puts VMWare in the dust.

I don't see how people gripe at Microsoft's update process.

As far as desktop PCs go, it is considerably better. For example, I would have never known there was a new version of Mozilla out likely except for reading this. I have to manually grab a copy of the updated version on all my computers and install it instead of having windows prompt me saying it has downloaded the recent updates and is ready to install them.

In fact I kind of have trouble reccomending Mozilla to others because of this now that I think about it.

why even bother doing that? I think TV is a waste of my time.

I love computers because I can get what I'm looking for and I have control over what I'm seeing. You're forced to watch whatever is on at the given time on TV unless you have a tivo (which I admit I wish I had)

TV would do MUCH better if it was all on-demand.
