Hey Guys,
I thought Slashdot Saturday Night was going to be some good old fashioned fun with some like-minded peers.
However, it seems to be ruined by people posting about the "Gnaa", some disgusting goat pictures which I will not describe, and some petty bickering about grammar.

Whore! You could have at least waited till someone asked before responding to your own post. It wasnt even funny in the first place...
Why is it that anti-military liberals always say that they'd rather spend the money we use on the military to improve America, as if the DoD is the biggest branch of government. Contrary to popularly held belief, the national defense is faaaaaar from the US's largest government program.
The biggest is Social Security. It accounts for almost a quarter of America's $2.2 trillion budget. The next two largest programs are Medicare and Medicaid. Combined, those three projects make up some 48% of government spending.
So if you are really concerned about spending money better, why not tackle fraud, waste, and abuse in Heath and Human Services?
