I can't say I'm surprised to see that "George W. Bush" is listed as the weasliest individual, considering that the vast majority of hollywood and half of the politicians in the country are gunning for him, armed with mountains of faux substance... It's almost as bad as the France thing, except there's plenty of really good reasons to pity the French, and not supporting the Iraq war shouldn't even be on the list. (Say what you want about Bush killing jobs, it doesn't even compare with the French enforcing a 35-hour max workweek.)

The solution to this problem involves the general public and natural selection, so I won't go into it here.

"how can they label Bush as a known weasel, thus indicating his "war on terrorism" is at least in great part a sham, and still bash the french?"

    Simple:

The war is a good idea, but for human rights -- not any threat Saddam may or may not have been to us. And anything Bush made up or got wrong doesn't change that.

The French, taking an annoyingly self-gratifying position, opposed the whole war just because they opposed Bush. Around these parts, that's called asshat.

I find it interesting that Dubya won his category. I had no idea public opinion of him was so low.

    Well, let's see...

He can't tell the truth for 5 minutes at a time.
Several US Soldiers are dying every day in Iraq.
The economy has turned to shit, and he's doing nothing about it.
He's storngly encouraged many intrusive laws, that have been pushed through congress, and many more than haven't made it.
It was well documented that he is wasting millions on his photo ops, aboard aircraft carriers, and the like.
    He's been taking month-long vacations.
    etc, etc.

Gee, you're right... What's not to like? He should have a 100% approval rating right about now.

I discounted the whole thing when George W. Bush got top weasel, and Saddam Hussein got only 2141 votes.

Even if you completely disagree with Bush, making him a bigger weasal than SADDAM?

What the hell is wrong with these people? That result speaks volumes about them.

As far as I can see, it's not just the French, it's the rest of the world (Blair was on the Bushs side in an attempt to moderate his actions). As time goes on it's becoming increasingly obvious that Bush and his PNAC advisors are a risk to global security (threatening Iran and approving of Isreali attacks on Syria - WTF?), and while the rest of the world can't get rid of him, we can certainly oppose him in the UN and hope that the US electorate will vote him out. That said, a depressingly large number of Americans seem to think that Iraq was linked to Al Qaeda (thankyou Fox News), so who knows?

And that's remarkably different from the way oil is treated now... like, Iraqi people getting the fair market price for themselves, right? It's not, like, used to rebuild country that was demolished by an invading army; contracts handed out by party responsible for destruction, paid for by assets they confiscated?

And more. Apparently large amounts of the oil are going to the US as reparations for the first Gulf War (despite the fact that Iraqs neighbours have already paid for it). See here

Tell me oh wise one, why has government revenues went up EVERY time taxes were cut?

Reagan cut taxes and revenues doubled in 8 years. So did JFK. Tax revenues are currently ON THE RISE since the GWB cuts went into effect.

Where do you think government revenues come from? JOBS. They are created by consumer spending. Consumer spending is increased by lower taxes.

George Bush is a Weasel of O(1)
    Politicians are Weasels of O(1)
He is a leader of the USA ...Weasel O(1)
He has ties to Oil Industry and Halliburton etc

So really George Bush is a Weasel to the 4th Power. Now why did forty some percent of voters choose him in 2000?
