Finding Holiday Discounts on iPods?

Stores guilty of this include Best Buy, Circuit City, Target, and CompUSA. Why do stores do this? How often? And does anyone know why Apple has been singled out while their competition has gotten their products discounted? Anyone know who *is* granting discounts on iPods this holiday season?"

"The other day came in the mail a 10% off coupon for various items at Best Buy, including 'MP3 Players' as indicated on the front of slip. Hoping this was how I was gonna get that discount, I set aside time this weekend to drive to Delaware in order to skip out on my local state sales tax too. I turned the coupon over, and in the legal disclaimer was the phrase 'Excludes Apple iPod Players.' Needless to say, a Merry Christmas is still aways off."

Blue Cat is the cartoon series you should of heard of, but didn't.. despite the fact that it is one of the most popular series in China. It is a remarkably long series having over 1500 episodes. In fact, it displaced The Simpsons as having the longest running time for any cartoon series ever, according to The Guiness Book of World Records. Amazingly, the show is free for Chinese broadcasters.. the studio makes money from licensed merchandise instead. You can view a few episodes from the series starting with this one here -> (rtsp://218.63.201.143:554/movie6/lxj30922/%c0%b6% c3%a81.rm). Don't forget to remove the space from the URL. Increment the show number from 1.rm upwards for more videos.. there are at least 70 of them available online.

Sure, topics that elicit those responses bring in a lot of ad impressions, and the slashbots complain and question whether or not a news item is for nerds if the article does not conform with the rest. Unfortunately, a narrow range of topics make Jack a dull boy. Talk about selling out!

Anyone Have Experience With Battery Refurbishing ?

There was a story a couple of weeks ago about a guy who owned an iPod for 18 months, the battery died on him and Apple advised him to buy another iPod. After he started publicizing this, Apple came up with a new battery refurbishing plan.

Has anyone used this new plan? If so, what is your experience?

I would suggest taking a serious look at Rio Karma. A very nice player indeed. I have owned it for about 3 weeks now and it's working great with a 12-14 battery life to boot. Check out this review
