MoonChild was the first of hundreds to submit that MSNBC, ABCNews and others are reporting that Saddam Hussein was arrested. This isn't normal Slashdot subject matter, but I figured it was worth mentioning.

With every goddamn media outlet caring this, do you really think it was necessary to include this on Slashdot; is this really news for nerds, or some MSNBC clone? I mean it's not like you could have bloody missed it any place else.

uncovering evidence all the time of Saddam's involvement with al-Qaida," said Dr Ayad Allawi, a member of Iraq's ruling seven-man presidential committee, according to the London paper.
"But this is the most compelling piece of evidence that we have found so far," he said. "It shows that not only did Saddam have contacts with al-Qaida, he had contact with those responsible for the September 11 attacks."

Saw the pictures on Yahoo. He doesn't look like Sadam to me. Anyone else notice this guy closely resembles Moses as played by Heston in the 10 Commandments movie? Time will tell.
