PHP 5 RC 1 released

An anonymous reader writes "PHP just released the first release candidate of PHP 5 after 4 beta releases. It is considered stable and feature-complete -- so get testing!"

    Funny that a site using "death throe" Perl could take down a site running PHP.

    No. PHP sucks just as much. Just in a different way. If you want to move to something else, try mod_perl. I switched from PHP a while ago and am happier, now.
