International Space Station Gyroscope Fails

    I wasn't aware of this milestone for gay equality, and it definitely should have been more widely reported, but the two stories really only loosely related. Every story about the space station doesn't need to also bring up the issue, it should be an issue in itself. Why don't you post that as a story?

    Your analysis is correct. It is pretty off topic, only it's a shame no news story anywhere is reporting it. I think Taco et al. avoid these sorts of submissions because of the trolling and abusive posts they inevitably garner. Certainly some of my other submissions (under another account) are always unsuccessful.

    I only know due to a newsletter I recieved today from one of the rights' groups.

    Still, it was worth the karma hit to get the message out, even if only a few people have heard it.
