Diablo II Gets Native Mac OS X Installer

Sutekh-Acolyte writes "Blizzard Entertainment just released a native Mac OS X v10.2+ Diablo II installer, so Mac users no longer have to use the Classic environment to install the game and its expansion set. At 25 megabytes, it's not a small download, because it includes patch files and installs as version 1.10b. PlanetDiablo has a set of screenshots of the installer in action. Download it from FilePlanet (login required) or directly from Blizzard."

Rather than download it to find out, I'll just be lazy and ask whether this is just the installer, or whether the whole game has been ported to run on OSEX.II

If its just the installer, I'll still have to load up Classic to play it.

When I read this article, I thought this was originally a joke, but it's not. I played diablo II in 1999. lol lol. O you mac users are loyal.

Seriously there is a chance your game of choice comes out for linux before your Mac OS. Go ahead gimme that -60 troll, and you'll see doom III available in the year 2030 in Mac. Ah hahaha.
