Don't Smudge The Sensor When You Press 'Play'

mattyrobinson69 writes "According to The Register, 'The RIAA wants your fingerprints.' They've teamed up with VeriTouch, who say 'In practical terms, VeriTouch's breakthrough in anti-piracy technology means that no delivered content to a customer may be copied, shared or otherwise distributed because each file is uniquely locked by the customer's live fingerprint scan.'" No details, but the article talks about a locked-down "wireless media player" to prevent such passing around.

    Ronald Reagan is dead.

    God bless his stainless soul.

He had the courage to face communism and speak of it bluntly with its right name: communism was the evil empire.

It was fundamentally his actions that brought communism down and that is what the world should remember this great man for.

    "Ronald Reagan is dead."

Reagan has been dead for some time. They're just waiting for the correct political moment to admit it. Bookmark this comment and look back on it in November and you'll see how prescient the paranoid mind that I'm sure you'll label me as, can be -- the Republicans are struggling to keep the Bush hegemony in power. An actual terrorist act (whether it be orchestrated by the CIA as was 9/11 with the compliance of Bin Laden, who is a CIA agent don't forget; or an actual terrorist act by the increasingly exasperated world population) would damage his chances because it proves that Bush is useless at "protecting the homeland". The mere threat of a terrorist act however is too vague and as Ashcroft's scaremongering last week proved, unbelievable even to the media. The only avenue left for them then, is to haul the bones of someone who is deified by the right, out of cold storage and remind everyone just how successful Republican policies can be at thwarting imaginary threats; they don't admit to them being imaginary of course but you get the idea.

Mark my words, the incumbant administration need an October Surprise and the safest scenario for them is the death of Reagan.
