New Star Wars DVD for Trivia Buffs

Klytus writes "Following the release of the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD comes news of a new DVD to hit store shelves early next year. GamingReport.com has details on a Star Wars: Trivial Pursuit DVD game for release in 2005. Details on if this DVD is to have new or enhanced scenes is unclear. Also up on deck is a Star Wars Risk variant based on what sounds like the new film."

  Instead of "Hans" it should be "hans", which is his login name on the Galactic Smuggler BBS, which, as the we all know, is first name plus first letter of last name. So the g-parent actually gets geekpoints for using Solo's login name.

Oh boy. A SW story on Slashdot. Let me sum up all the posts to save us all time (and see how much karma I can burn):
- Lucas ruined SW.
- Spielberg should have directed it.
- Han shot first, damnit!
- Oh boy, Lucas is milking us for more money after ruining a great story.
- Why can't they make a movie out of the books, those were good!
- Don't let Lucas direct another movie based on a book, he'll ruin it.
- Lucas has replaced good story telling with glitzy special effects.

How can a Star Wars Trivia game even be possible, when the movie changes every few years with each new special edition and home release? The dialog keeps changing, entire scenes are added and deleted, even the actors that voice the characters (e.g. Boba Fett) change!
