New Star Wars DVD for Trivia Buffs
Klytus writes "Following the release of the original Star Wars trilogy on DVD comes news of a new DVD to hit store shelves early next year. GamingReport.com has details on a Star Wars: Trivial Pursuit DVD game for release in 2005. Details on if this DVD is to have new or enhanced scenes is unclear. Also up on deck is a Star Wars Risk variant based on what sounds like the new film."
How long until Lucas puts out the "Star Wars: Trivial Pursuit Special Edition DVD"?

Hope this time this StarWars DVD doesn't kill my XBOX dashboard as latest StarWars extras DVD tried to do.

You may want to play a few more times. At first glance, the questions can seem pretty general. However, just when you think you've completely PWN3D all your friends at the game, you'll come across a question that just boggles the mind. Like, what's the name of the character who Vader speaks to when he first boards the Death Star early in RotJ? and questions about dialogue with mind-boggling specificity.
(By the same token, though, there are already a few cards I have removed from the box because they were erroneous. So, YMMV.)

The lack of discussion regarding this story tells volumes.

How can a Star Wars Trivia game even be possible, when the movie changes every few years with each new special edition and home release? The dialog keeps changing, entire scenes are added and deleted, even the actors that voice the characters (e.g. Boba Fett) change!
I can already see this question in the game... "How many editions of the original Star Wars were released to the public? Including VHS, DVD, LD and CED".
I just have to say that's the funniest "from the dept." line I have ever seen here. (Not that that's saying much.)
