Recently Microsoft launched their Genuine Advantage Program to let you (and Microsoft) check if your OS is legal. They hoped for 20,000 responses but received 800,000 without offering anything but piece of mind. You paid $80 for a piece of software you've been using every day for 6 years now, and are too fucking cheap to buy a newer version? You think $13/year is too much for something you use every fucking day?

This attitude is why games developers and app makers very rarely put effort into making stuff for desktop linux, because you're all fucking cheapskates.
