Tankjumping in Halo 2

The original Warthog Jump video from Halo is a hilarious and informative way to learn about game physics. An Anonymous reader wrote in to mention a Spare Time production in which they try to recreate the essence of the experiment. "A tank on top of a shield in Halo2 proves to be quite an experience! We got it on tape. Enjoy!"

though.. having now watched the video i gotta wonder if they're going to get screwed for using a popular song for the soundtrack(or perhaps they paid royalties? nah i don't think so, but then again it would be majorly stupid to not do so and distribute it from your own website with your own name)...

with that said, the video really IS boring, you could have made more exciting stuff in 4d sports driving(most of you know this game as 'stunts') for gods sake. the tanks just fly out of control spinning unrealistically and then proceed to explode. not to mention what fun stuff you could have whipped up with some carmageddon(tanks in this vid don't even get smashed before exploding).

such 'physics' would be considered bugs in other games...

so I guess they really have just too much money, bandwith and time. well, i'm making a wild guess that they're actually on jaguarpc's 5.95/mo deal with 45gb of transfers included monthly(extra gb is a dollar per month, but that's if you pay in advance, their site doesn't seem too clear on prices what you would pay afterwards you went over your limit ).
