Actually, the practical definition of meatpuppet, according to Wikipedia, is "Anybody with an opinion contrary to the AfD Nominator." Who, me, bitter? Naaahhhh.
I'm just wondering if laws like this may end up with a Macarthy-esque witch-hunt on forums or blogs about "who's a shill." After all, not all of them will give themselves away with language like "Don't just wear it, pwn it!"
Umm.... EVERYBODY knows that JFK was shot by himself from an alternate timeline with the assistance of a cleaning android, hologram, highly evolved cat, and a man from the future in desperate need of more curry.
There was a post on AVS Forum by a member who works at MS not too long ago about using the Xbox 360 HD-DVD drive on a PC. His reply that It isn't supported only in the sense that MS didn't test it for the PC, but there was nothing specifically being done to prevent it being used on a PC. So I'm really not surprised that it is being done this quickly to be perfectly honest.
Now how about a proper 1080p TV then? There are HDTV's that have a 1080p display, but don't take 1080p inputs, and TVs that take 1080p but downscale it to 720p. Make up your mind!
Sol is HARDLY a dwarf star. In fact, it's spectral type (G) is heavily outnumbered by the smaller, red dwarf stars* (K,M). If anything, Sol is relative husky. However, it is not morbidly obese, like the other, rarer classes of stars (O,B,A,F)
* Not related to television shows about annoying holograms and highly evolved cats
I wouldn't be too surprised if we started seeing crap games that have huge point rewards.
King Kong.
You see any retail game has a budget of 1000 gamerpoints(XBLA games have 200) that must be used for at least 5 acheivments. Unfortunately, There is no standard of difficulty handed down for the acheivments, so some games have a bunch of easy ones, others are damn near impossible to get all 1000.
Compared to the South African mining elevator incident(Vaal Reef?) where the elevator got stuck in the shaft and cable piled up on top of the elevator until it was too heavy to hold, at which point it fell down the shaft because of all the slack cable that had piled up. The momentum of the falling elevator sheared it off the cable, where it kept going until it hit the bottom of the shaft, reducing its remains to a wreck only 2 feet high.
Perhaps the Dell 3007WFP would have been a better example for Dell.
As for the Xbox 360, if you have ever sat down with one, you would know that it does have a lot of marked improvements to it. Mostly little things that a lot of people overlook, but having them there just makes things a lot better. Such as cross-game settings, and voice chat over live that is agnostic to whatever game you are playing.
In OoT, what they did for a lot of rooms was that the camera was locked to a specific point, and then used a 2D pre-rendered bckdrop, and put the characters, pots, chests, cows, and doors over it.
What TFA did NOT cover was the fact that the framerate drops on occasion with the current emulation on the 360. I've seen this myself, and it was the most noticable when playing Ninjanauts on Backwash. This experience could well be anecdotal, and there could be an update that fixes this. So take this with a grain of salt.
Actually, the first video game was OXO, it was an adaptation of tic-tac-toe for the ESDAC computer. It was created in 1952 at the University of Cambridge.
Tennis for two was not the first video game, as is widely believed.
Surely you MUST mean Metal and Energy. Just have your commander, or a construction K-Bot reclaim the thing if you want the metal. However, I don't think it is on a metal deposit.
Grant Naylor made 2 pilots for an American version of Red Dwarf prior to Series VI. Both pilots were never picked up, and were simply god-awful peices of smeg. The only remotely interesting bit is that the actress who played the Cat in the 2nd pilot, was the same actress who played Dax in DS9.

But without the original Xbox, what will we laugh at for being "OMG XOBX HUEG?" "OMG PS3 HUEG" doesn't have the same ring to it.
If I remember correctly, that strategy didn't work so hot with the Dreamcast either.
Must be light from The Discworld.
A quick back of the envelope calc gives a wavelength of 12.491 cm. Thats too big to have any kind of effect on the brain.

Star Trek is a television show, it was shot and mastered in NTSC, you won't get any appreciable difference with Blu-ray.
The only place you would is the movies, and there are only four of those worth bothering with. (TWOK, TVH, TUC, FC)

Maybe she thinks that you'll give her an expired coupon.

Very clever stuff.
grokster.com is much easier to type than whatismyip.com. A real timesaver, that is, if I hadn't already memorized it. Thanks anyway RIAA!
I think that HD-DVD will win the end, simply because it is the inferior format. Which is usually is the one that wins in the end.
But Greedo shooting first must be nice at 1080p, either way.

That was Pac-Man that had more cartriges made than systems available.
The Xbox has had this feature in it from the start. It just didn't get much use, for obvious reasons.
Minerals? Vespene gas? What is this you speak of?

That's still not going to make "Encounter at Farpoint" any better.

That is one helluva transform fault.
