Yep... about a year ago...

I liked this story better when it was covered the first and second times.
Although, I can understand why this error gets made, because the search function built-in to slashcode is nearly worthless. Try googling site:slashdot.org "tactile digital assistant" and you'll find previous coverage... from last year.
REM Old programmers don't die. They just GOSUB without RETURN.
While we're duping, let me dupe someone else's COMMENT: (sing along with the Pink Panther theme) Du-dupe du-dupe, du-dupe, du-dupe du-dupe du-dupe du-dupe du-duuuuuuuuuuuuupe dudududupe!
You're right... slashdot should have featured at least 4 articles on it by now. I'm sure they'll make up for it in the coming days.
(b/c it seems like vapourware) So I will pick up on your duping: I suspect that your "dudududupe!" lacks a 'du' before it.
I suspect that your "dudududupe!" lacks a 'du' before it.
I know I've just said that twice; I thought it was sufficiently important that I say it twice.
Whilst engadget rules, and usually has news a few days before slashdot, it's not like this thing is new to anyone, slashdot included. The reason for this story is that this article is supposed to be a review, whereas all the information about it before was marketing information from the manufacturer.
/. actually beat Engadget to the punch, posting its story on 12. July, Engadget on the 13th.
The funny thing is that in this instance,
Working toward a usable PDA environment in the spirit of Newton OS: Dynapad
..on Slashdot? and it proved to be a fake..
They used photoshopped images of the Apple Newton.
Slashdot already has .
And a year later this thing is still just hype.
