spu found a reivew running on CNet of the new iPodTreo which, as the name implies, takes the best features of two of the worlds most popular portable devices, and brings them together in one wonderful package.

    I made that same thing 3 years ago... only instead of a Trio it was my crappy cell phone and instead of an iPod it was a discman! I'm going to sue them for their blatant theft of my IP!

      They started off amusing. got worse. I got really annoyed. Now they've looped around and are so bloody shocking I find I'm laughing at them again.

    Posting something that looks fake but isn't.

    Hell, I saw a few of the older stories from last night - like the one about massing individual molecules - and thought they were fake at first. Considering how many fake stories have been posted today, I bet that about 90% of the user base would swallow it hook, line, and sinker...

    This one was actually a bit funny because it doesn't try to fool you -- it doesn't make you wonder whether or not it is fake. The picture of the devices duct-taped together is what's funny.

    FSCKing basterds! I've been waiting for something like that for years but no manufacturer can seem to take the hint that its a good idea. Just give us a mobile phone with a mini-hd and a decent OS and stop teasing us damn it!

    Only it's for liquid cooling your PowerBook. That's what you tell the (hic!) officer, at least.

    (I don't even drink, or own any Apple gear, but the thought of a blue Apple logo on a traditional silver flask amuses me...)

      Actually, no. See, the iPod is powered by an ethanol fuel cell that derives its energy from the stein. Unfortunately, the beer is not replaceable, Apple does not warranty the beer, and will charge $99 to replace the beer.

      Enterprising folks have already lined up to offer cheaper replacements (called the 'keg') and the necessary tools needed ('tap').
