megli writes "OCRemix.org, the popular video game remix site, is announcing on its front page that it has entered a partnership with Electronic Arts. Their forums have erupted with arguments about the benefits and drawbacks of the partnership, especially considering EA's recent bad press." Update: 04/02 18:02 GMT by Z : April 1st hoax story.

    EA's lawyer sent OCR a cease-and-desist letter in response. Amusingly enough, they cited OCRemix.com when it's actually .org.

    The cease and desist letter from Electronic Arts is WAY funnier than the original joke.
    I can totally visualize the EA legal team in action.

    Apparently EA couldn't take it anymore either. Look at this cease and desist letter they sent them... what a bunch of dicks. Can't anybody take a joke?

    Don't blame them.

    I wish places would just stop with April Fool's Day jokes. None of them are ever funny, and they serve no purpose.

    Well, ok, thegia.com's April Fools Day joke from a few years back was funny. They said they were shutting down on April 1, but, they really did shut down.
    Now, that was good.
