China PM Wants to Rule Global Tech With India
GrumpyDeveloper writes "As reported in this Wired story, China's prime minister said Sunday that China and India should work together to dominate the world's tech industry, bringing together Chinese hardware with Indian software.
We *generally* don't let our citizens die of starvation. Can China and India claim the same? Until they can, they will always have a "competitive" advantage. Until they stop their evil ways, we will continue to be wrong -- morally wrong -- for indirectly supporting them. All for the benefit of cheap plastic crap at Mal-Wart.
America is really looking to be a bad place to try to develop anything, with patents and ect. causing all sorts of headaches for anybody who even thinks of trying.
Good for them if they can do it.
Mod me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete!
+5 funnay indeed.

So, on software part, for every freaking spreadsheet , email client and such, I 'll have to patiently explain to it what I want, wait for the work to be done, get absolutely nothing I could use, ask to start over and get the exact the same outcome again?
Been there, done that, not afraid.
Um well you thumbed your noses at communism where you would be forced to distribute some of your wealth (or even your products which are increadibly cheap after the investment in R. & D.) and now you've decided to thumb your nose at capitalism which has the end goal of maximum efficiency through market pressure.
Why don't we make all american's kings of their little castles and bow to them... Here stupid king here's some mcdonalds.
Yeah, well the Chinese PM can't properly pronounce "fried rice." Which is harder to say? Fried rice or nuclear? ..And plus his penis is small- that's important too, right?

"For what it's worth, I incline to the latter position. Europe's problems -- its unaffordable social programs, its deathbed demographics, its dependence on immigration numbers that no stable nation (not even America in the Ellis Island era) has ever successfully absorbed -- are all of Europe's making. By some projections, the EU's population will be 40 percent Muslim by 2025. Already, more people each week attend Friday prayers at British mosques than Sunday service at Christian churches -- and in a country where Anglican bishops have permanent seats in the national legislature.
Some of us think an Islamic Europe will be easier for America to deal with than the present Europe of cynical, wily, duplicitous pseudo-allies. But getting there is certain to be messy, and violent.
Until the shape of the new Europe begins to emerge, there's no point picking fights with the terminally ill. The old Europe is dying, and Mr. Bush did the diplomatic equivalent of the Oscar night lifetime-achievement tribute at which the current stars salute a once glamorous old-timer whose fading aura is no threat to them. The 21st century is being built elsewhere."

How do you explain the fact that U.S. has a higher economic growth rate in terms of GDP? It seems that U.S. economy is growing faster than any European economy... EU pulled a whooping 1.2% GDP... Please :)
"Foreign imperialist pigs are all evil, but our own imperialist invasions and genocides are all oh so completely justified... because China's feudal overlords said so!"
No one can reason with brownshirts who want to believe in their imperial superiority over other peoples.
Should invading one's peaceful neighbours be opposed, or rewarded with trade deals?
