Red Vs. Blue has a huge fanbase, due to it being usually very funny and because it's made using Halo it appeals to gamers. Lots of gamers are nerds. News for Nerds, y'know.
Then again, I find Strongbad pretty boring too, so maybe there's something wrong with me.
Linux, you magnificent bastard, I read the fucking manual!
Some of best bits from Season 1 were the extra videos on the DVD. I think they were on the website too, though I may be wrong.
Is a cockbite. :-)
(not flamebait if you are a true RvB fan.)

I was a big fan for a while. Season 1 was great, season 2 was pretty bad, definitely not good, and season 3 is only slightly better than 2. I haven't downloaded an episode for months.
I think it went downhill when they started giving donut or caboose (i get those two mixed up) more lines. The 'series' defnitely jumped the shark after season 1.
Just a side note, don't even bother with the Strangerhood. That 'series' is hideous and is a waste of bandwidth. I wonder what these guys are going to do once people get tired of RvB? Find real jobs I suppose. It was pretty interesting how much that website cleared out when WoW went online; it seemed like everyone was waiting for something else to waste their internet time on. I know I was.

I got hooked on it when they did some material for Barenaked Ladies concert in town. I had heard of RvB, but didn't really check it out until after the concert. I don't regret my wife's love of the band anymore.

... keep makin' jokes. That'll win the war.
Don't blame me, I voted for Durga.
RED vs BLUE was an interesting idea.
That was then. Now, its an interesting idea which even had it been well executed (its not. check out any digital film & animation festival for boatloads of real talent) it wouldn't qualify as
I find it incredible that a sloppily executed concept with a microscopic viewership, which is only important because it represents a "workaround" and because it was executed with intellectual property belonging to Microsoft can continue to represent "news"
Let Red Vs. Blue die. Its over. Move along.

Your the one missing out. Watch the DVD version of Season one, which is basically a movie. Makes it go a WHOLE lot smoother than it would have gone otherwise.
Red will win, even though blue gets the majority of the popular vote.
Gidday Does anybody know if seasons 1 & 2 are available on DVD in Australia, I haven't seem them anywhere, but would be interested in getting them. (Note: Australia is DVD region 4).
