FFVII Advent Children Leaked

FF7:AC Movie writes "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has been leaked on the Internet early this morning by a pirate group from Hong Kong known as BiEN (which incidentally means good in French). The Square-Enix film was due to release in Japan on September 14th 2005 after numerous delays. As for the North American release date, it has been pushed back to a cloudy end of November."

It says on the site that the subtitles are Japanese. So basically anyone that downloads this and doesn't know Japanese is going to have to wait a while to watch it.

Hironobu Sakaguchi has long since left Square Enix to form the company Mist Walker. He had, as far as I know, no involvement in the creation of Advent Children, beyond the ideas he put into the original Final Fantasy VII.

And English Fansubs here: http://divxstation.com/subtitle.asp?sId=46977. They work and make sense, but I've only watched the first 5 min, so don't shoot me if they suck.

Wow, that was a lot faster than I thought... Just to update everyone, you can download an english subtitle file for the movie now (seperate download). Expect more and more fansubs over the next 2 weeks. The subtitle that comes with the movie is japanese, so that's kind of redundant.

I loved FFVII, and I have to say it, SE fucked up. This was beautifully done, but it destroyed Cloud. The tacked on "ending" ending was horseshit, and in all it was just a retread of the game, sept now we get to see a second beloved character die for no reason other than to kill them.
