starexplorer2001 writes "Space.com is reporting that NASA's planned trip back to the Moon isn't without a significant amount of science and technological innovation. Simply 'sponging off Apollo' won't do it. Among the issues: safer human spaceflight, lunar ice, sustainability, robotic scouting missions and more. This won't be easy."

    Hey come ON! They didn't even land on the moon in the first place - if they DID infact land on the moon on July 20, 1969, then WHY the hell HAVEN'T they been back there YET?

    If you are stupid enough to believe that we did land on the moon in the first place, you should go and get a life! This time around, they will run out of funding anyway, and they are only saying it because China WILL beat them there first - genuinely! America is just a DYING world power, and everybody knows that now - you idiots!

    Umm...exactly who is proposing we launch a Mars mission from the Moon? Bush sure isn't, and neither is any other sane person.
