Umm . . lighten up? There may not be an "official" pirate speech, but American culture definitely has an underlying sense of the stereotypical pirate and how one would speak. That's like saying we shouldn't dress up on halloween because there aren't REAL ghosts/fairy princesses/vampires/PIRATES. It's just a little fun. It will be ok. Really.
