Dave Barry gave momentum to this international movement. You'll have to decide for yourself which of talklikeapirate.com or talklikeapirateday.com more accurately conveys the genuine holiday spirit.
I think the modern version of "arrh" is "dude."
Clearly you haven't watched the video, otherwise you would know that "Yarrrr" is the correct response!
D'oh. Obviously, I need to watch it again, as I meant to say "Harrrrr"!
Nothing matters but knowing you are the coolest person around, and that everybody else is lame.
I now invent fake bands and screen print my own fan t-shirts...that way nobody will steal my cool by liking the band more than me---or even worse, claiming that they heard of them before I did, and sneering that they're "over".
In fact now I just sneer at absolutely everything that isn't a flattering airbrush picture of myself.
