Weird Al Premiere Cancelled Due to Net Leak
SilentChris writes "In what's probably a first, AOL cancelled the 'World Premiere' of Weird Al's newest video 'White and Nerdy' due to it being leaked on the internet. Al writes on his MySpace page: 'Apparently, the video has already leaked online, and AOL doesn't feel comfortable doing a World Premiere promotion for a video that a number of people have seen already ... Anyway, it's really a bummer... it would have been great promotion for the album... but hey, life goes on.' As for the video? Arguably Al's best work (but I'm a little biased)."
They really are going downhill quick.
Perhaps they should just go whole hog and install the Sony rootkit.

The real "Libtards" are the Libertarians!
If people would stop breaking the rules shit like this wouldn't happen. Leaking music, movies, photos, etc... is not about sharing it with the community it is a selfish and childish act and making fun of AOLs responce show that you don't understand that. People who leak this kind of stuff do it to feel self important and I personally feel sorry for them. If you really gave a shit about Weird Al or any other artist you wouldn't be on the side of the people who leaked the video.
