Rush Limbaugh Begs Steve Jobs For Bug Fixes
jlgolson writes "Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh complained on his radio program about some problems that he was having with his Mac: 'Mr. Jobs, please help me. I know we don't agree on anything ... But can you put me to somebody that can get this going, because I know it's gotta work for most people. What am I doing wrong?' Eventually he shared that he was running into actual problems with Time Machine and Back to My Mac. Can you fix them?"
Considering the bile that pours out of his ginormous mouth everyday (Michael J. Fox, anyone) I hope he totally gets ignored.
"There is no time, sir, at which ties do not matter," Jeeves, (Jeeves and the Impending Doom)
I can fix that stuff right away. It'll cost you:
When you've gathered all of that together, give me a call.

Rush Limbaugh actually hides his distress in little episodes of "service requests" with great "follow-up" solution and satisfaction as an easy way to advertise for companies and corporations that endorse or pay him. I use to "tune" my locker radio into him through KFI AM-640 when I was in Junior High schrool around about 1993. He was quite honest about it back then, and recently these past years since about September 11, 2001 has become a dishonest creature that is all but on my ignore-List. He has lunch with Hillary Clinton every day, and holds unequal measure as to what he compains about punnishment enflicted on others with eschewing and discharging the matters of his own that warrant the same but with leniency. He's just like Bill Oreilly and that Beat-Nick Michael Weiner Savage; too luke-warm that you can't fill your hot-air balloon with their inefficient gas-passing, and yet not hot enough to do some useful cooking and heating. My dial is tuned to Radio-free Johnstown Denver/American Freedom Network (64.72.126.49:3030/), Republic Broadcasting Network, First Amendment Radio, The American Voice, GCN Network, Truth Radio, Revere Radio Network, and Alex Jones (PrisonPlanet.com). Anything else is just nerds doing somthing useless, as we don't like to hear computer shows of repair and remedy in the likes of Jeff Levy and such (yawn), but I would go for a daily show on eMacs versus Vim!
"Doesn't Rush Limbaugh remind you of one of those gay guys who likes to lay in a tub while other men pee on him? Can't you see his fat body in a tub while Reagan, Quayle and Bush just [pee noise] Just standing around pissing on him, and his piggly-wiggly dick can't get hard." - excerpt from Rant in E-Minor, Bill Hicks
If after the election he decides he can't live in the new pinko US any more, the problem will be to find somewhere to go where he won't get himself locked up or bankrupted by lawsuits, now the Australian government has changed character. My suggestion is he ditches his Macs for OLPCs or old PIII boxes running Windows 98, because those are likely to be the only computers available in the sort of places that will have him.

Is simply going to a system that lacks the features a fix or learning to live without?
Yeah. Where's the "let's all come together" Obama-mania?
I hear more vitriol from Obama supporters and *anyone* else.
When you can Champion geek causes and stop your fellows from walking all over the Constitution, I might care.
When you can stop painting people like Mr Jobs as terrorist surrender monkeys, I might care.
When you can stop earning a living by breeding hate amongst your fellow citizens, I might care.
When you can hold your own ideologues to task - just once, I might care.
When you can admit your own drug addiction, and eat your words, every one of them, and then help a Friend of Bill W, I might care.
Until then Rush, I got nothing for you but Pity. At least Elementary Schoolyard bullies don't know any better.

Slashdot, where armchair scientists get shouted down and armchair theologians get modded up.
Seriously, why is anything that Rush has to say relevant to /.? If I could mod down the article I would.

I fear for anyone gullible to take any talk show host at their word and support them blindly. I fear for their souls, and yet I hope that some day they shall become enlightened as I have, before it is too late.
The only reason this is news is because it caters to the lowest common denominator. For shame, Slashdot. For SHAME.

And mine is lower than yours, and no nothing has changed: Republicans like to trash others for having a victim mentality while engaging in their party-mandated hypocrisy: whining about affirmative action, unions keeping hard workers from earning more money, you can't say anything bad about Islam but anyone can trash Christianity all they want (need to be introduced to Bill Donohue), etc.
Maybe because Techies and Trekies tend to be pretty smart people?

Rush screamed and bellowed the lies this administration used to create a war in Iraq. Rush has the blood of thousands of US servicemembers on his hands.
Let him suffer....and better yet..someone come up with a Rush worm that will only attack his Macs and render them as boat anchors.
I know...I know...but I hate him and can't wait to see him on judgement day being tossed into the eternal lake of fire. That's all that he deserves.
Is it 5:30 yet?
It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong.
Ironically, all these people accusing of hate, etc. Are the same ones accusing Rush of lying & using false and misleading facts.
Of course, they're all blithering idiots too stupid to understand that facts are often open to interpretation unless they are hard facts. And in the political world there are few hard facts, most are warm, eewwy goey brown facts to be honest.

The #1 fact I hate about liberals is that I always feel they have a double-standard. They demonize anyone who thinks differently than them for doing what they do. There are very few things I hate in life more than the fact that "life ain't fair". And I hated double standards throughout my childhood.
That's what the Democrat Party means to me...double-standards. We can do x, and it's okay, but if you do x you're a racist, a bigot, a liar, a Nazi, etc.
Nobody mentioned anything about Rush being a conservative. Just that he's an asshole. If you think "conservative" when you read "asshole" then maybe you need to look at your own prejudices.
That aside, why would you assume that anyone who doesn't like Rush Limbaugh must be a liberal? It is possible to dislike Rush completely independent of his politics because he is, in fact, an asshole. I don't like him and I'm an independent voter that has voted for both Democrat and Republican candidates. And I probably know more Republicans who don't listen to Rush than those who do. And I'm talking about the card-carrying, RNC-donating, Ron-and-Nancy-signed-photo-on-the-mantel kind of Republicans.
By any standard definition of the term, Rush is just an asshole. And I'm sure that he would still be an asshole even if he was a liberal. It has more to do with his personality than his politics.
Ah, the idiocy of the right. What is it about you people that means you can't accept the fact that better educated, more intelligent people may have considered an issue more carefully than you have and simply come to a different conclusion?
But no, there is one correct answer, and it's the one I have (shades of Marx's historical inevitability there) and anyone who disagrees needs re-education, or is misled, or brainwashed by lying right wing propaganda etc etc
The Greatest Man In America
Coming from Canada, we love those leaders who personify the US way to be,
There was JFK, and LBJ, and WKRP.
But of all of these there is not one to rival the greatest genius of them all
He's a megalo with a healthy glow
He's the man called Rush Limbaugh.
He's a dose of P.T. Barnum
With a Mussolini twist.
There in the limosine, parked on the lawn,
He's a goofy Gengis Khan.
Not since Jesus Christ has the world seen someone
With such widely sindicated views
Hundreds of years from now they'll celebrate Rush-mas
And Rush-ashana for the Jews.
'Cause he'll pull the plug on femi-nazis, paranoid minorities and gays.
He's a burning bush with a network push,
Sure to start a country-wide blaze.
He taught me to love and praise Charlton Heston
Oliver North is quite a nice man too.
Forget Al and Tipper
Let's bring back the Gipper
And Joe McCarthy too!
I was a troubled soul, consumed by voices advocating special interest groups and vice
'Till Rush rushed to my sweet rescue
Now I'll never ever hafta think twice.
Never ever hafta think twice...
So we'll sign a check for Limbaugh-ism
Restore the moral fundamental core
We'll cut the debt,
And start a Tet
Offensive on the poor.
It's a blitzkrieg in the making,
It's distinctly upper-class (well, not everybody!)
Yes sir I'll get the door
Roll the carpet on the floor
For a man...
For a man...
For a man...
Such a man...
For a man....

So if you want a reasonable debate, he can't not be involved in any way.
