Rush Limbaugh Begs Steve Jobs For Bug Fixes

jlgolson writes "Yesterday, Rush Limbaugh complained on his radio program about some problems that he was having with his Mac: 'Mr. Jobs, please help me. I know we don't agree on anything ... But can you put me to somebody that can get this going, because I know it's gotta work for most people. What am I doing wrong?' Eventually he shared that he was running into actual problems with Time Machine and Back to My Mac. Can you fix them?"

Rush Limbaugh is a habitual lier. I don't say that as an insult. It's a well documented fact. When I was in college and Rush still had his TV show, my roommate and I would watch the show and throw a throw pillow at the screen every time he said something that was false or misleading. If we made it to a commercial break with ANY pillows left on the couch, then we knew we weren't up on our current events and needed to study.

I have no doubt that if HE had Parkinson's, HE would play up the severity of his symptoms. Instead, he says things such as that for feminists "the most important thing in life is ensuring that as many abortions as possible occur." The guy who dismissed torture at Abu Ghraib as "emotional release." Scientist after scientist has denounced him for misrepresenting their work for political gain. The guy who championed family values has been married and divorced three times.

He couldn't "inject more honesty in a charged political debate" if he had a turkey baster and a voltmeter.

The real problem with Rush having any real problems is that he is, by default, a distracting touchstone for flamewars. If it was reported that he thought the sky was blue, there'd be 1000 people saying "Yup, it is! And Michael J Fox is an asshole," and 1000 people saying "it's clearly gray, and that fucker is addicted to drugs," and one meteorologist saying "partly cloudy with high wind and a chance of rain later in the afternoon."

    • Form no arguments without providing sources and reference data for 1 day
    • Stop using drugs and/or stop lying about it by accusing others of being druggies.

I use to "tune" my locker radio into him through KFI AM-640 when I was in Junior High schrool around about 1993. He was quite honest about it back then, and recently these past years since about September 11, 2001 has become a dishonest creature that is all but on my ignore-List. He has lunch with Hillary Clinton every day, and holds unequal measure as to what he compains about punnishment enflicted on others with eschewing and discharging the matters of his own that warrant the same but with leniency. He's just like Bill Oreilly and that Beat-Nick Michael Weiner Savage; too luke-warm that you can't fill your hot-air balloon with their inefficient gas-passing, and yet not hot enough to do some useful cooking and heating. My dial is tuned to Radio-free Johnstown Denver/American Freedom Network (64.72.126.49:3030/), Republic Broadcasting Network, First Amendment Radio, The American Voice, GCN Network, Truth Radio, Revere Radio Network, and Alex Jones (PrisonPlanet.com). If after the election he decides he can't live in the new pinko US any more, the problem will be to find somewhere to go where he won't get himself locked up or bankrupted by lawsuits, now the Australian government has changed character. My suggestion is he ditches his Macs for OLPCs or old PIII boxes running Windows 98, because those are likely to be the only computers available in the sort of places that will have him.

The #1 fact I hate about liberals is that I always feel they have a double-standard. They demonize anyone who thinks differently than them for doing what they do. There are very few things I hate in life more than the fact that "life ain't fair". And I hated double standards throughout my childhood.

It is possible to dislike Rush completely independent of his politics because he is, in fact, an asshole. I don't like him and I'm an independent voter that has voted for both Democrat and Republican candidates. And I probably know more Republicans who don't listen to Rush than those who do. And I'm talking about the card-carrying, RNC-donating, Ron-and-Nancy-signed-photo-on-the-mantel kind of Republicans.
