Physics Nerds Rap About the LHC

Engadget has pointed out a small band of people even we can consider nerdy that decided to cut loose and demo CERN's fancy new toy, the Large Hadron Collider. The resulting music video is certainly enough to "rock you in the head," and maybe even enough to cause a rip in space-time. Between Alpinekat and Dr Spatzo, I think my iPod just got a new entry.

I love geek rock, and that one really does rock! That lead rapper is awesome, and the lyrics are simply fantastic. The vid itself is quite cool as well.

Some do, most dont. However it is the offical proganda :)

Basically if its in the exact right place and we get very lucky we could see it early next year. We could also win the lottery (to be fair the chances of seeing the Higgs straight away isnt as bad as that but its not good).

      Signed,
A particle physicist who hopes the Higgs doesnt exist as that would be a disappointment.

If they can use music to teach little kids the alphabet, why not use it to teach science? This kind of thing might actually make a difference in high school.
