For abandoning the PS2 in favor of the original X-Box. Exclusivity deals FTL.

It's ridiculous you get modded flamebait for pointing out the fact that exclusivity deals stink and it did indeed cost Oddworld alot of possible sales. Fanboys suck.

I always found it ironic that the Oddworld games were about the little guy against the big corporations. With Much's Oddysee, Oddworld teamed up with Microsoft, then for Strangers Wrath Oddworld teamed up with EA.

I think they were mistaking my schadenfreude for trolling. I loved the original Oddworld game.

It was mentioned before by the Oddworld Inhabitants team that if the re-released Abe games sold well there would be an Oddbox, with additionally Munch's Oddysee and Stranger's Wrath ported to Windows.
This sounds more like a reference to that, since there is no indication Squeek's Oddysee or other new Oddworld games are in development.

I guess whether warming up old franchises and churning out sequels ad infinitum is PlusBad or PlusGood largely depends on whether you're a fanboi of that particular franchise. Let's remember that the next time we mock the latest incarnation of MetalWarfareHalo 23: Encashening Extreme Edition.

Amazing, isn't it, that in the years since Abe's Oddysee came out the phrase "Follow Me" has become a cultural phenomenon thanks to Twitter. Or am I making to much of a tenuous connection over two words?

Yeah, I think you are. It's not like "follow me" wasn't a common phrase before Abe came along.
