I am sure a lot of liberals were hoping for the GDP to drop, today just so they can get on their high horse and say look the other side idea is failing!

I am happy that the Economy is strong, I am not happy that Trump is president, I feel he is too focused on short term transactions for the short term gain, leaving problems for the next 4 to 8 years that they will inherit. Only for him to gloat that he didn't have those problems during his presidency.
Also by alienating us from the rest of the world. Markets will slowly move away from us.
He has been president for enough time, we have to give him this win. However they are farmers under financial stress directly because of his actions.

Want to know how I know you don't know what you are talking about? That was ALWAYS the calculation used for unemployment. It NEVER counted those who had stopped looking.
Whatever. Unemployment around here is at record lows, and my portfolio at record highs. My taxes didn't go up, and freedom didn't go down. Couldn't say that during the 2008-2016.
You just described America for at least the last 100 years. Nothing has changed except you finally see what has been there all along.

The only reason many of you now see the writing that has been on the wall is because the person occupying the White House has made himself into a outre caricature of yourselves. He feeds you your own shit and you can't stand it. He shows you a mirror and you recoil in horror. He apes you and you damn him for acting...just...like...you.

All the while, liberals appeal to false freedom, encouraging more illegal immigration without taking responsibility for the lives of the people who come here illegally.
These people live in fear of authority every day.
They work and contribute to society and the economy just like a regular American does, but cannot participate in America as if they were citizens.
They cannot travel freely. They are not free to speak without fear of reprisals. They cannot legally own a firearm for self defense. Their person is not safe, nor are their effects. Deportation undermines due process and their right to compensation for property and money seized from them.
I think you see where I am going with this. If not I will put it plainly. The efforts to bolster illegal immigration create a sub-class of quasi-citizens who do not enjoy the freedoms and rights established as "inalienable" by our founders. They are slaves. Not to the whip, but to fear.
That there are Americans who will encourage people to come here without first doing their civic duty to preserve the health, well being, and freedom of these people is mind boggling to me. These same people cry and scream, shame everyone from our leaders to our law enforcement to anyone who believes in upholding the law, and blame everyone else for the vicious hardships and pain which befall those few illegal immigrants that are caught. And yet, not one will take responsibility for reforming immigration law and creating a system that works in conjunction with the unique pressures and stresses this country faces as the largest immigration portal in the world (by a staggering margin too!)
You want to talk about destroying America? The "left side" of the political spectrum in the US is intentionally importing victims, watching as they are eaten alive, and then holding up the bloody pieces saying "SEE WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" when all along it was they who enabled the carnage, fomenting and fostering it at every step. That is the destruction of America. Complete and total disorientation to responsibility, the rule of law, our unique founding principles and the well being of innocent humans, combined with false compassion and a self-righteous callousness the likes of which I have never seen.
Fuck you. Fuck you all for being so self absorbed that you will use, abuse, and mutilate oppressed and desperate people, whose main fault is simply believing that America and Americans are now as they once were, as cannon fodder in a stale and played out game of "who can take the least responsibility." It's fucking sick, deeply sick and depraved, and I feel powerless to stop any of you from lying to yourselves while you wallow in your own filth.
