He wasn't invited. Bad assumption. "Today, I had an opportunity to listen to a few songs and a radio station on the Zune here at the Microsoft Campus in Seattle."
Bloggers who got invited and then flamed include folks like stereogum and 3hive.
His last sentence in this poorly written article: "No we don't work for Microsoft and I'm pretty sure they have no idea who 2old2play is. If they did, Im dont think they would use our site to talk about the Zune, do you?"
So, yeah. Right. As in: refer to original comments.
Love you paranoid applets. Here's the actual site address: http://www.2old2play.com/, by the way.
Lytis is the company that "designed and hosts" sites, using Global Compass, Inc. servers. Lytis debuted on 8-03. Your information, while true, is irrelevant. Lytis has no connection with MS- it was hired to get the site titled "2 Old 2 Play" online. It did so. Archives for this marginal, wholly volunteer effort, go back to 3/05. On 4/6/2005, it officially announced in "News" the new 2 Old 2 Play site and there are 5 comments to the post- all spam.
Your levels of paranoia are only exceeded by your levels of ignorance. This is an amateur site, hence the site development company. What is it about you applets that makes you this way?
The latest MS Natural Keyboard, like it's predecessor is a godsend for people who actually use their keyboards, fulltime. The current iteration has excellent ergonomics and allows me to type comfortably for long periods of time. It has a great tactile feel. I know this is off topic to the originating thread, but when people who've obviously had no experience with a product or more probably, a full fledged (includes number pad) keyboard talk shite, it needs to be corrected. The MS 4000 is an evolutionary step forward in mass produced keyboards. The only complaint I had, from the very beginning, was the split that put the 6 on the left side. Having pulled up my big boy pants, I think it's possible to overcome this situation.
Until I saw this comparison, I had mistakenly believed MS was embarking on another IE or Xbox type of foray into a well established market. Lose big at first, take the insults, gain share slowly and inexorably, overcome. Now I can see I was really, really wrong. Thanks for the comparative review. It really opened my eyes to the pucker factor.

Coolness? Superior UI? Apple? You've got to be kidding. Check it out: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/zune/ images/image022_low.jpg. You'll want to compare this, of course, to the latest and greatest iTunes storefront: http://dsandler.org/gruntle/itunes7/iTunes7Dissect ed.jpg Then there's the customizable zune ui: http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/presskits/zune/ images/image004_low.jpg. Of course, you might prefer the iPod version- I know Creative did, earlier this summer, to the tune of a million bucks. Innovative. You betcha.
