    It corrupted a windows 8.1 installation I had on another drive that I was dual booting with. I've had the start menu problem where you left-click and nothing happens. When dual booting with Linux on my home machine it simply loves to overwrite grub, not just once, it has done it multiple times. Installed an application that required .net 3.5, but it wouldn't install....the actually 3.5 framework would not install. No matter how much googling I did and how many different approaches I tried, it would install. Finally I tried a third party program which worked, but now I'm paranoid it installed malware.

    I've used windows 8.1 for over a year at home and work, and Windows 10 at home and at work for about 6 months, both OSes suck more than Windows 7.

    All my Echo will hear is me occasionally baby talking my cat. I suppose it can also hear what I'm watching on TV...but I'm pretty sure netflix/amazon/hbo-go/Roku are already tracking that. They're already gathering much more informative information by tracking my internet habits.

    I type and mouse all day. and due to tendonitis I'm painfully aware that working at a computer is still "working with your hands".

    1. Education is more expensive, and yet easier to get a loan for plunging young people into deep debt.
    2. Job opportunities for all these graduates aren't there.
    3. Healthcare is far more expensive than it used to be.

    Those who participate fully and log in also get karma feedback, which influences their ability to moderate. It promotes groupthink, which is one of the reasons I refuse to fully participate and stick to being an AC.

    Have you checked a mirror lately, because I'm pretty sure you have a tinfoil hat on too.

    That costs more. Why make workers happy, when you can higher a robot fire the workers that are most unhappy and drag down the happiness average.
