If they ever did this to me (doubtful in Canada), I would demand that a forensic expert with NO ties to the RIAA make a third copy to be kept under lock and key in case of suspected planting.
In my college we get this for each instructor at the end of the semester. There is a teacher who (rightly) receives nothing but complaints of not teaching, incompetence, unwillingness to help and being a complete jerk. Yet ever year, he's still there. These questionnaires are only useful if the administration has the balls to do anything about it!
Yes, but since schools STILL don't teach students anything about the voting process and how the nation's politics REALLY work, who the hell is going to know how to do anything about it?!?
My point is that mentioning Microsoft in that first line is absolutely irrelevant. No company, no matter how big or complex, will EVER make a bug-free application, let alone an entire operating system.
You never met the grade 9 students at my old high-school! By grade 9 we were accessing restricted network folders, and we didn't even have physical access to THAT machine!
Removing it yourself won't work, since it can't be "certified."
Drill out the camera with a 1/4" drill bit. Then when the security guy points out the camera hole, SHOVE A PENCIL THROUGH IT!
Most webcams are on their own circuit board above the display. If you wanted to save it, to put back in later, you could remove the board, then drill out the case.
Exactly, locks (unless you pay a shitload for them) are not designed to keep people out. Any locksmith will tell you that the only thing a lock will do is make your neighbours house an easier target.
Computer security is the same way. You *can* cracl WPA(1/2) encryption, but if you neighbour has his connection open (or is using WEP), you are not likely to become a target.
The exception, which appears in this situation, is when you are chosen as a target due to a high payoff (military). In this case, simply being harder than your neighbour is NOT going to help you.
That is entirely up to personal opinion. Most UrT players much prefer it to CS (even those who placed CS for years). We actually had a big in-game chat about the physics, gameplay, etc with a few new guys and a bunch of old CS players
The v550 has a really cool scroll-wheel feature. It has detents, but if you click the scroll-wheel down, it detaches the gears, the re-attaches them if you do it again. It's like a detents toggle button!

Didn't someone just develop a way to detect hidden TrueCrypt partitions? I think they used some kind of pattern recognition algorithm of some kind.
Brilliant. This would actually be a good idea. The summary specifically says they are only allowed to look for "music", not "videos".
Judging by the XviD section in that filename, the music is saved as a video, thus exempt from the audit!
umm, NO. I was comparing lawnmowers TO vehicles. If I said that horses run faster than humans, does that makes horses human?
I know it's still not a whole lot, but lawnmowers tend to have about a tenth of the efficiency of vehicles.
Assuming the trojan is represented by the cars, what exactly would the users computer be? Or are you planning on destroying the computers themselves?
I wasn't sure if you were ignorant or sarcastic until I read the transmission fatigue part. Well done my friend.
I want to break into your place just to switch 3 random cables.
Oh my god, that is awesome! I actually laughed out loud, and that is rare!
Hell, in this economy most COLLEGE students would take that job.

I was assuming the common house-number/birthday/dictionary-word password that 99% of people use.
Yeah, someone might steal our super-secret plans for the next gigantic robotic space arm!

Or don't caulk up the hole. That way you can shove a pencil through it to PROVE there's no camera!
Yes, but they'll know which stable-boy's ass to fill with firecrackers!
Nope, you already posted.
Don't worry, I'll do it for you!

I think they should fix all problems with their software before selling it
You obviously don't know the first thing about software development.

UrT isn't really comparable with CS.

Actually, I did search online, but believe it or not (I almost didn't), the retail store had the best deal.
