    If they ever did this to me (doubtful in Canada), I would demand that a forensic expert with NO ties to the RIAA make a third copy to be kept under lock and key in case of suspected planting.

    Brilliant. This would actually be a good idea. The summary specifically says they are only allowed to look for "music", not "videos".

    Judging by the XviD section in that filename, the music is saved as a video, thus exempt from the audit!

    In my college we get this for each instructor at the end of the semester. There is a teacher who (rightly) receives nothing but complaints of not teaching, incompetence, unwillingness to help and being a complete jerk. Yet ever year, he's still there. These questionnaires are only useful if the administration has the balls to do anything about it!

    Removing it yourself won't work, since it can't be "certified."

    Drill out the camera with a 1/4" drill bit. Then when the security guy points out the camera hole, SHOVE A PENCIL THROUGH IT!

    Most webcams are on their own circuit board above the display. If you wanted to save it, to put back in later, you could remove the board, then drill out the case.

    Exactly, locks (unless you pay a shitload for them) are not designed to keep people out. Any locksmith will tell you that the only thing a lock will do is make your neighbours house an easier target.

    Computer security is the same way. You *can* cracl WPA(1/2) encryption, but if you neighbour has his connection open (or is using WEP), you are not likely to become a target.

    The exception, which appears in this situation, is when you are chosen as a target due to a high payoff (military). In this case, simply being harder than your neighbour is NOT going to help you.

    UrT isn't really comparable with CS.

    That is entirely up to personal opinion. Most UrT players much prefer it to CS (even those who placed CS for years). We actually had a big in-game chat about the physics, gameplay, etc with a few new guys and a bunch of old CS players

    The v550 has a really cool scroll-wheel feature. It has detents, but if you click the scroll-wheel down, it detaches the gears, the re-attaches them if you do it again. It's like a detents toggle button!
