A while ago I was researching every episode and story line the Daleks have appeared in. It's a bit of a tangle. However, the greatest source of Dalek trivia has to be
I've no idea who put that site together, but the depth of detail (every Dalek ever made and when they appeared) is bordering on the obsessive. I read all of it...
Well there was one about 11 years ago, but it was around 100 years since a politician was murdered and the biggest mass killing (14) in Switzerlands history
I think there's some merit in the article, to me, Lego Space was too specialised, particularly compared to the model I had that had very few if any specialised bricks.
“When I was a kid, you got a big box of bricks and that was it,” said Tracy Bagatelle-Black, 45, a public relations consultant in Santa Clarita, Calif., north of Los Angeles. “What stinks about Lego sets now is that they’re not imaginative at all.”
I tend to agree with the above quote, I'm 45 as well. If you're younger it's likely that you would never know of the less sophisticated Lego. What's normal for one age is not normal for another. Who'd of thought?
What the summary doesn't mention is that in some European countries this is already because consumers are forced to pay an extra tax on blank CDs and digital music players which goes to the music companies (note I don't mention the artists)
This will probably come to the UK at some point I'd imagine as laws across states are harmonised
1. Start a new website, competing with Kickstarter 2. think up a way to generate some media attention by creating an Apple-related product that's never intended for release. 3. Then tell everyone how Apple screwed you over.
Why not just supply multiple USB ports so people can use their own cables? Why not just make an alteration to BYO cables and offer a refund to any who didn’t want it like that?
No headlines and publicity for the site - that's why
That's true of the App Store for the phone, not so of the desktop/portable machines. You can still install from anywhere like the developers web site, open source mac repositories and physical meadia

That's an interesting read. Perhaps they've spotted a pattern. This story is very similar one that was reported last year regarding the 4S

They had to invent a new colour, Australia wasn't visible from space before
Why are people still stupid enough to trust Apple enough to sink money and development time into their silly, arbitrary little prison-platform?
Why are people still stupid enough not to read the terms of the market their trying to enter? Beats me.

Even the themes are a relatively new thing in my mind. When I saw 'Lego Space', I immediately thought of the kit I had as a child

The front page was definitely visible at around 8.30am UK. How else was i able to attempt to log in and get a 503?
