I agree with them. The 360 controller is the best!
Not only is it comfortable, it puts the left joystick right where your thumb naturally goes when holding it, unlike the PS2/3 controllers, which seem to emphasize the D-Pad a little more.
Who said the profile was made using school computers? It could just as easily been done by a student at home.
Plus, don't schools have internet filters? I've never been to a school that didn't! They could just add myspace to the filter.
Still, even if they don't have a filter, they handled it really poorly.
I have also like id for releasing their source code. It really helps students with learning about game programming and design, and also provides a stable starting point for new open source games.
