This is indeed a simple PNR with preferences listed by the travel agent/reservation system.
No you can't identify the person from the PNR unless you work at that same agency/system, or airlines, or sabre/amadeus/worldspan... PNRs are locked to the issuing travel agency.
Heck, I'd be willing to pay $20 a month for a WoW-quality game that only allowed you to play if you were over 21 and had a full-time job...
That would be awesome... an adult-filled MMORPG (not necesarily adult-themed)... where you play with people that have a life and can't be 20hrs a day online leveling... and can actually type a full sentence.
Surely the author of that rant knows about dns cache... your pc will only consult the NS for tinyurl, etc once per day -if at all- depending on how many of those you click on.
And if you click on them rarely the delay would be neglible, cos you only use them rarely...
Plus this, interesting as it may be, still does not solve how to get a long url into a Tweet... it does not matter if Twitter can go look up the small URL on its own... you still would have the 140 char limit.
LOL i did not thought of this... just thought that protesting on facebook was childish and stupid... forgot about it being public and personal...
So summing up... to protest against public misuse of private databases they decide to make a private database of people protesting against public misuse of private databases... BRILLIANT, at least it shows a highly evolved sense of ironic humor
So: Its illegal for MS to integrate IE into xp and vista.... but fine when Apple does it (with safari obviously)
Its ok for them to intentionally cripple the bluetooth stack in the iphone, but when Verizon did it with the motorola v710 (preventing photos to be synched via bt) they were evil and got a class action lawsuit for their evil practices.... i don't get it.
This is done in many countries, where all "Family Law" cases initials are used instead of names, and in ALL cases involving minors (just the minors names obviously).
I guess if you took the trouble to actually go to the justice dept (or wherever they keep the physical files) and ask for xxx case the names would show up complete in the scanned docs (please tell me they ARE scanned and not microfilmed still, or even worse kept as hardcopy)....
OMFG... that was an easy hack ??? this is now recategorized as an awesome hi-tech hack
Thanks, i hadn't really bothered to RTFA as it was quite short (yeah, the irony) and thought it was basically the same as the writeup.

1. make crappy encryption 2. wait for hackers to crack said encryption 3. ??? 4. Profit 5. Repeat
i guess step 3 would be wait for the idiots who bought equipment in step 1 to buy new and improved one.

Toll Booth cards are read at around 30/40 meters (100/130 ft) and at speeds of at least 100 kph (60 mph), and at least both of my cards (the old ones were active cards, but the new ones are passive "stickers") are Mifare cards... so let the cloning begin.
Only the true geek will buy $500 worth of RFID equipment to try to avoid paying a $0.1 toll fee.
I would much rather trust in a good strong encryption than something as easy to loose/copy/show to someone/etc as simple PAPER.
I think you read too much into the phrase, if you were right he would've said something as "I dont put sensitive information on computers connected to the internet" instead of the much stupider "i don't do email" Not doing email today is like not doing faxes 20 years ago, as telex was a bitch. Not secure enough is an ignorant reply, specially coming from the guy briefing the president in all things Security
Not only that... China is a country WITH ITS OWN LAWS. And as demonstrated on things much more serious than Disneyland they give a royal crap on US' laws (eg: personal liberties, freedom of speech/press), they couldn't care less about the differences.
Mickey's image and most Characters from the 20s and 30s are in the public domain in a lot of countries around the world. With the obvious exception of the US and the countries strongarmed (or not) to extend the copyright laws.
It would be ironic to find ppl outraged at this and just replying with a "well tings are different in China" whenever somthing about the Chinese Firewall, and its enforcements are posted.
Why on earth does the US have a law on when should a bar close. I used to own a bar with some friends and would close it when we saw fit. Usually between 3 and 5 am.
The "land of the free" sure seem less "freer" each time i look.
Nokia has close to 70% market share to the cellphone market.
Around 40% and growing, of those are as powerful as the NGAGE. The newest ones are better.
PSP and DS together dont come even CLOSE to that many consoles. If Nokia is getting ready for this step they are not taking it lightly. The potential market is huge.

Was putting the link to the actual place you can stream the videos too much work ?

Sweet...
The page that the articel makes reference to (http://www.dailymotion.com/openvideodemo) works in FF 3.5
IE8 tries to download openvideoframe.
FF3, Safari 4 and Chrome 2 say you need FF3.5 (dont have Safari3 to test),
So no, this wont work in Safari 4.
that makes two of us.

Of COURSE they can abandon it ... its simple: if you send in your tweets by SMS you have the SMS limit of 140.
... NOT.
If not
The rest i agree completely. I hate the SMS system and think it is a ripoff.
Or get out off your effing couch and GO to Parliament/congress/whatever ... you'll always be taken as seriously as the effort you put protesting.
And a few mouse clicks is definitely not the way to show outrage.

So summing up
My thoughts exactly ...
... a facebook group ? WTF ... why not protest on twitter for that matter??
Way to take this seriously and be firmly opposed
Evidently people in the UK are way too polite, ideally they should protest at Parliament's doorstep....
Go work in an HMO and then call me to talk about scrapings of the gene pool ...

Easy ! lets steal all Senators and Congressmen info's and post it somewhere anonymously. Then i'd bet they start to care !
Fire them ?

But who is infringing ? Google, or the competitor who actually used the trademark.
Will google be sued too for META contents ??
Of course LV sued Google, after all they surely have loads more money than its counterfit competitor
