  8. I'm modern! We had Apple II computers in college 8) But the programming textbook we used, still mentioned sending the punchcards (not really punchcards, but the ones you fill out with a pencil) to the computing center.

    More interesting is a remote controlled implant. You can make people do whatever you like if you reward them with a little push of the button now and then. (Or zap the fuck out of them if they don't comply)

    More compiler specific than distro. And linux seems to be GCC always.

    It was computergames that drove me to buy new hardware in the past from 8088->8036sx->486dx->pentiumII I stopped playing computergames at the point I started using windows.. Everything after that I upgraded just because someone gave me their old pentiumIII/thunderbird/pentium4 wich I've been happily using for years with a few new caps in them.

    Yeah there's guys that get the job done and keep the customer happy and there's guys to clean up the details and the bugs before anyone notices. Work together. I'm doing it like that. Neither of us having a problem with it. Each our own forte.
