Eh, I've gotten over it. I much prefer making music anyway...it's difficult to find the specific kind of music I want to listen to, so I figured making it would be the best solution. I played French Horn, Clarinet, and Piano when I was younger, plus I still have full retention of how to read music and the actual structure of music creation, so it didn't take much time or investment to get up and running.
It's served me well enough...I would love to write the scary short stories in my head, and I would love to draw the weird images in my head, but learning how to do either would detract from the time I spend making music. My interests are already too far-ranging, adding any form of creation other than music and the mild amount of writing I do would leave me with zero free time, I think.
...what I want is to be able to transmit images from my brain onto a computer monitor. I have a TON of (what I think as) really cool and creative images in my head, but completely lack the artistic ability to even begin to sketch/draw/paint them.
I doubt I'm the only one in this hellishly frustrating situation -_-;;
Toshiba confirmed it is in preliminary discussions with TerraPower, a unit of Intellectual Ventures, a patent-holding concern partially funded by Gates and Toshiba spokesman Keisuke Ohmori says the two sides are talking about how they could collaborate on nuclear technology although discussions are still in early stages and that nothing has been decided on investment or development.
You guys were doing so good...really making a turn around. You were starting to release big games without DRM (Dragon Age), You were showing that aquiring a company no longer meant dictating every facet of development (again, Dragon Age is a good example), you were gaining some great IP (Dead Space)...and then you go and do this shit.
I was trying, EA. I really was. But this is making it very hard for me. If you take the money paid for these extended demos off the price of the full game, then ok...I'm behind you 100%. BUT. If it's just "pay for demo, pay full price for the full game"? I'm sorry EA...but I would be forced to abandon you.
So lets look at your belief using US national averages. In Dec 2008, last full month of Bush the average price of gas was $1.61 under Obama yesterdays average was $2.82. If we look at the historic chart of national gas averages the only other the price of gas was this high this early in the year was the ramp up to the major oil speculation that took place in 2006.
First off, you cited zero sources to back up your claims.
Secondly, you are comparing the price of gas in the middle of winter (when it is traditionally at its lowest) to the price of gas at the beginning of spring (when it traditionally starts to ramp up.)
^This. I'm of the opinion that it's about time our Constitution be rewritten, considering that in the 200 years since its inception the world has changed more than any other 200-year period in human history.
The problem is, there isn't anyone in power that I would even remotely trust to rewrite it.
Did it also bother you that former Energy Company board members were running the country during the same time period that oil companies were making record profits? Does it also bother you that since those former board members are no longer in charge, the price of oil has dropped DRAMATICALLY?
The Insurance industry in America is the closest thing we have to a legalized mob...other than Congress, of course. Hopefully, parts of this bill will change that.
It's impossible to cover my MRI today because my back was injured 10 years ago? Fuck that.
I personally have a ton of injuries, mostly due to hiking and car related accidents. L3-L4 vertabrae fusion, left knee is bad (although I still don't know exactly what is wrong with it yet), I've sustained navicular fractures in both my wrists that, after about 3 years, are FINALLY healed...also have a minor rotator cuff tear, on/off again neck problems...and more. I had some minor problems getting insurance when I was a mechanic, but it wasn't too big of a deal. However, in that time is when I sustained the neck problems, knee problems, neck problems, and others.
After I quite as a mechanic, I started working as a programmer. I didn't want to get insurance through my current company (Cigna is ass), but couldn't find a SINGLE INSURANCE COMPANY that would pick me up on my own. The only reason I was able to even get it through work is because I'm technically in the healthcare industry.
This is the kind of crap I'm talking about...I know about it, because I've had to deal with it.
Oh, and it's CRONUS, not Kronos...if you're into the whole greek thing :-)
Actually, that would be Saturn.
I always knew he was a slimey fuck.

With a little mechanical arm holding a collapsible cocktail shaker that pops out the front to shake Bond's drinks!
Tony Stark would whup Bond's ass and not even break a sweat.
Sure, with his Iron Man suit and gadgets and whatsits...put Stark and Bond in a straight up fistfight though? I think Bond would be the winner there.

Run-on sentence much?
Agreed. There were a couple of fun games for it, but the thing really was pretty much a waste of money.
^^^Pretty much this. There are other options out there just for vinyl if you are concerned about noise from using an analog input.

WHY CAN'T I QUIT YOU???

Lastly, you forget just how bad things got. You are also forgetting that gas reached over FOUR DOLLARS A FREAKIN' GALLON in Bush's last year as President. Scroll down to the bottom of that second link for the graph.
Oh, an look at that...in November, when Obama won, the price plummeted. Whodathunkit.

Can it print junks? Specifically the "nether region" variety...
It's likely simplified language for something too complicated for the general public to understand.
Look further down in the thread. PSM321 already linked to it. In case you are too lazy to do that:

Are you freaking kidding me? Link to the updated version. At the VERY LEAST, link to the reconciliation package. Jeez.

Assuming the identity of, eh?
...I'm going to go ahead and guess the general answer most people around here are going to give.
Linux or OSX.
AmIright?

I'm having a brain fart at the moment. Anyone care to explain to a noob what kind of implications this could have?

And if you let the states decide, as we are now, then each one will enact different laws, making interstate health insurance nearly impossible.
Which is one of the reasons we don't have it now.
