...he/she wasn't referring to the OP, just that people who copy word-for-word from a site as big as Wikipedia likely get failed due to the anti-plagiarism programs that a lot of universities are no providing their professors with.
They weren't saying anything positive or negative about Wikipedia; just that the people who copy directly from it likely do (or at least should) get caught.
People are still under the impression that RRoD is a widespread problem, despite the Jasper's not even getting hot enough to cause the box to red ring? Seriously, check out a Jasper unit...a PS3 Slim puts out more heat than they do.
I should know. My Jasper 360 is sitting on a shelf next to my PS3 Slim.
I doubt they came to this conclusion lightly, but whatever their reasons are for leaving (either humanitarian or because they got hacked), I'm glad to see them making what I believe to be the right choice.
Let's see...we have three legally purchased firearms in our house, each of which we could take to the range any day we please and blow through as much ammunition as we can until they kick us out.
Yeah, I would say the Second Amendment is still in effect. Stop sensationalising things.
All of the ATMs that the bank I belong to operates (Chevy Chase bank...somewhat local bank here in Maryland) can accept straight up cash or a signed check without needing to put it in an envelope...the money is available in your account right then and there (unless it's a Sunday and you are depositing a check...if you deposit cash in one of their ATMs, even on Sunday, it's available instantly.)
I have a checkbook that I got from my bank when I opened my first checking account when I turned 16 (almost 10 years ago)...and every one of those checks are still attatched to their little booklets:-)
You mean like Strange matter? I honestly think they just aren't creative sometimes and just say "It's weird stuff, we can't think of a name for it, we're wasting time...let's just call it strange matter."
Great idea, Princess! Diving into a pile of garbage! Hey, maybe when we get out of here, you can show us around your home planet of Alderaan-Ohhhhhhhhh, too soon???
Chances are the availability of color devices will drive the selling price of the monochrome ones after they are on the market for a little bit anyway...but I think they would watch the market grow a lot faster if the price of entry wasn't as high as it is. At this stage in the technology's life though, you may be right about it being pointless to invest further in monochrome displays.
Still, I know they are trying, and I know the market is doing decently well despite the high prices, but when you consider the rest of the components that make up an e-reader, the e-ink display is obviously where the bulk of the price comes from.
And when they're $125-150, you'll sit there demanding that they be $100 instead. Some people can never be pleased, and you very clearly seem to be one of them.
How do you figure? I already said that if there was a name-brand version that didn't suck priced at $150, I would go out tomorrow and buy one...as in, within 24 hours from now.
Well...I mean, I personally didn't have a computer until the '88 because I was born in '84:-) Ah, the days of playing Bop 'N Wrestle on my Commodore 64...

The Gizmodo link you referenced (the "30% retailer" number) is from mid 2007. This was prior to the Jasper units, and even prior to the Falcon units.
Out of date numbers are relevant to Jasper units not running hot enough to Red Ring because...?

As I said in a post just above yours, I live in Maryland, which has some of the most asinine gun laws in the country.
Actually, I live in Maryland...which has some of the most strict gun laws in the nation. Thanks for making assumptions though, I appreciate it.

I've linked to it many times in the past, and it seems like a perfect time to do so again:

Just what I want on my cell phone...a picture of a piece of paper that has my checking account number and bank routing number on it. ::eye roll::
Or, looking at it from the optimist point of view, they could discover that the country in fact doesn't revolve around them.

Damn. GG to me I guess, lol.
On a completely unrelated note...lol looks like a Tie Interceptor.
Referring to my crotch.
Just thought I would clarify that for the mods.
I got your killer electrons right here ::points down::

I wouldn't have noticed much...I think the most minutes I've used up in a billing cycle in the last two years was 35 :/
Aw man! Can't believe I missed it :-(
No need to him, he's just the information needed understand.
I still have a fully-functional TRS-80...with the tape drive!

Eh...that's still a little too much.
I know that making such a big deal over $20-$30 sounds stupid, but when you consider e-books are running $5-$15 each...
