Considering the copious numbers of websites that stream it for free (redtube, youporn, etc.), paying for it at this point is literally being fiscally irresponsible.
I believe the GPs point was more about fiscal responsibility, rather than the act itself.
While I use TVersity with both my 360 and my PS3 (depends on which one is turned on when we decide to watch something), in my experience TVersity works with the 360 far more frequently than the PS3. I find that with my PS3, I often have to stop the sharing service before turning it on, then have to enable sharing after the PS3 is booted up.
Never had to do that with the 360::knock on wood::
Seriously? So you're saying that the later days of BBS, and the early days of CompuServe and AOL provided the exact same experience the Internet provides now?
I think you'd be hard-pressed to find many people that would agree with that.
I'd sure like to play with one as I lust for the day when every piece of media I have can be played from a single device. I suspect it'll never happen
HTPC = every piece of media you have can be played from a single device.
With the advent of how powerful (and inexpensively) you can build miniITX systems now, plus being able to buy 2TB hard drives for around the $100-$110 mark, building an HTPC has never been cheaper, easier, or smaller.
Not sure if TFA is accurate or not, but I do know that my research skills have vastly improved since the Internet became a daily part of my life (I'm 26). This isn't just because there is more information available...I mean I am able to sift through the crap and find what I'm looking for much quicker than I used to.
Places like Stickam, Livestream, USTREAM, etc are likely not happy about this...I'm actually a bit suprised it took Youtube/Google this long to wade into the live streaming waters.
Many industries have been trying for literally decades to prevent used or second-hand sales...but parts of the software industry are the ones to actually do it? Huzzah. That's so awesome. Thanks for fucking us over once again. Guess what people will do when they can't buy a used copy and don't have money for a new copy?
I've heard so many horror stories from people using paypal, both from a purchasing and a selling point of view...but::knock on wood:: I've never had a problem with them, whether buying or selling.
Is this stuff entirely random, or is there something that people do to piss them off?
Never let facts get in the way of a poorly constructed opinion.
Of course, it's hard to tell what the facts are when your opinion is constructed of information told by people who refuse to divulge the facts...or something.
I think this is the biggest news of all. Why they kept such things secret, I have no idea. There really was no good reason to not disclose these guidelines before.
While I think that is an entirely different part of this discussion (since it gets into religious implications in regards to law, as opposed to moral implications in regards to backlash), I agree with you.
Chill out, take a hit.
I was simply repeating what the GP said for the AC...it wasn't meant to be presented as my own opinion.

You can find more info from either Intel or Ubergizmo.
In before the "google it" stampede.
TVersity + PS3 (or Xbox 360) = unlimited entertainment.

That's worth something...right?

He should have a copy transcribed, and release it in a torrent.
You know, if people would claim only what they've fucking invented on patent applications, that backlog would be much smaller. Way to go, jerkoffs.
Wait...what? Seriously?

Yaargh.
Exactly what I was thinking. How is yahoo still even ranked in the top 10?
I mean, next thing you know, people will be saying Geocities is ranked- oh wait...

(or possibly because of)
its
Fixed.
Thanks for the responses, everyone. I know what I'm loading up on my nook tonight!
I dunno...The Langoliers was pretty good, despite (or possibly because) it's campy script and hammy acting.
Also...are you forgetting Carrie?
Band of Brothers called...they told me to tell you "piss off".
I'm a big King fan, but I've never read this series...often wondered if it's worth getting into. Any opinions/advice/suggestions?
No...only spam.
This is a troll. This is a troll on 4chan. And this is a troll on Slashdot.
Any questions?
Not the fact that Wikileaks is publishing information like this. Not the possible side effects from "inside information" being released.
No, what bothers me the most is that something like Wikileaks needs to exist at all.
