The church can still burn the Queran if it wants, it can still spread its message if it wants, and it can still say whatever it wants...just not on a Rackspace server.
How is this any different than being kicked out of a store for repeatedly saying kike or nigger? You're welcome to say it outside the store...just not in it.
Oddly enough, the original Star Wars Trilogy is what taught me how to do that:) Sounds in space, laser guns that produce a visible (and short) beam, ships that can fly in and out of atmosphere with no change in design or function...the list goes on.
Purely from an entertainment perspective, it's fun and enjoyable (Tiny Lister alone makes it worth watching.) When you start focusing on scientific inaccuracy is when it starts to suck.
If you're able to disconnect yourself from "reality" and just watch a movie, you are almost guaranteed to enjoy it. If you have trouble disconnecting yourself, you will likely hate it.
The man's entire media empire heavily condemned Obama for suggesting that we talk with dictators around the world.
I don't think he would miss his own company conducting business with one of those dictators. "Money from North Korea" kind of jumps off the page in a tally sheet, know what I mean?
Murdoch owns one of the largest media empires in the world. Why wouldn't he work hand-in-hand with "the enemy"? Never mind the fact that Fox News has trounced the idea of speaking to dictators...but doing business with them is a-ok!
Why is this the case, now that just about every PC still in use has a USB port for a hub to connect gamepads and a VGA or DVI/HDMI output for HDTVs?
I wish I knew:( That being said, if you want to check out a game you can play co-op on the same screen, I highly recommend playing Trine. Absolutely beautiful, amazing game.
Plural? In that case, the game runs into a problem with DirectInput: an application can see multiple gamepads but can't see more than one distinct keyboard and mouse. For example, if I press the left mouse button on player 1's mouse and then press the left mouse button on player 2's mouse, the game can't tell them apart. What do players 2 through 4 who live with me or are visiting me use? Separate PCs and separate TVs?
I take it you've never been to a LAN party...besides, most PC games don't allow co-op on the same screen anyway.
And yes, I know you were just being a smartass because I was a moron:-)
I was referring to things like phishing emails, nigerian bank scams, etc.
One example would be if you get an email from Paypal/your bank/etc saying something about your account, don't click on the link...type the URL in yourself.
In matters of security, the most important tool anyone can have is common sense. Phishing scams, "dangerous" websites, revealing important information willy nilly...all things that cause major problems in the digital world, and all things that could be almost completely avoided if common sense was more prevalent.
Granted, some people "don't know any better"...but that's why you educate those types of people if you know any.
but Colbert and others continue to tell us all that nothing's wrong
Jon Stewart and Colbert are constantly talking about the budget problems lately...they both do many things, but acting like nothing is wrong certainly isn't one of them.
That's the part about Colbert I always found so awesome...through parody, he speaks more truth than those with a "serious" agenda.
Of course, nothing is funnier than someone who thinks Colbert is serious. My friend's mom is a die hard conservative, and she thought Colbert was serious about everything he did (taking it as Comedy Central's counterpoint to The Daily Show, in the interest of being balanced.) I showed her clips of Colbert getting his start on The Daily Show, and of him talking politics outside of his "Colbert" character.
I'm not talking about performance issues, I'm talking about general usage problems. Tracks will disappear and reappear on a whim, playlists would disappear (and, in one extreme case, change its own order) amongst other things.
Tried formatting the system, still continued giving her problems. Since she switched to SharePod, she hasn't had a single issue.::shrug::
I'm sorry, but iTunes is a piece of crap as far as software is concerned. I don't know how smoothly it runs on a Mac, but on Windows it's nigh useless (this is on a Phenom II X4 965 with 4 gigs of RAM, btw).
The day my wife switched over to an alternate piece of software (she uses SharePod) was the day she became much happier.
Chill the fuck out.

There can be only one...
"There can be only none, Debbie."

I'm so racist.

so even if they change course, don't expect Bruce Willis to be called in.
So, we should expect maybe Mini-Me?

Fair enough!

I fail to see how educating people on the basics of avoiding scams is a bad thing..nor do I see how it's an attempt at a "smackdown".

That sort of thing.
I assume you are a twitter shitter?
If you ever wanted to truly show someone how much better a PC game looks than its console cousin, do what the GP suggestion.
Besides, they do make wireless keyboards and mice...
So long as the smarter people remain outside the law, it will never be secure. /generalization

Would this sort of thing ever become useful for personal use? Or is Quantum Computing strictly a commercial endeavor?

Her head exploded.
Didn't say VA was getting their money's worth, just wanted to tell people what they were doing :-)

Interesting...thanks for the tip!

That I agree with.
