Analyzing conflicting reports from other physicists on the true nature of Quantum Entanglement, I can confirm for you that a good percentage of them really want it to be this simple, and for nothing "spooky" to be happening at a distance, and will just about always fucking wig out on you if you point out the other physicists' views that it is in fact much weirder than that, and spooky stuff IS in fact happening at a distance.
I think it just depends on how much effort you want to put into misusing it. Penguins are birds that swim you know. Its all about adaptability and willpower.
Notwithstanding your points (which I disagree with anyway) he said "doesn't actually even exist anymore" which is entirely factually inaccurate and a fundamentally different argument than yours which is "its too slow for my taste."
Vertical lines are still very key to some people. Long before 1920x1080 became "HD" after a few years of severe regression in vertical resolution, there *were* 1600x1200 screens.
Yea... I've got an even better one for you. Remember when there was that big scandal about Google Street View cars getting caught "accidentally" wardriving and everyone couldn't believe they could have done such a thing on accident?
I can only assume that they must have meant it sarcastically. I analyzed the data they presented and came up with the conclusion that the US and Japan are "up to something," while Canada just seems to have a lot of friends and new ideas. But I didn't read the actual drafts either.
I on the other hand have contemplated this inevitable scenario extensively. My question is: What will they actually do in response if a completely consumer-driven, decentralized, mesh network gains actual popularity as an alternative to the then sadly effectively obsolete network they're trying to scuttle? Will they come for your wifi hotspots before or after they come for your guns?
Oh, so you're then suggesting if they were just polite and unobtrusive quiet little nerds easily swept under the rug by big players who deserve the glory more than there would even be a FOSS movement today of this caliber, or even at all? I assure you I get your point entirely, but still completely disagree with you. How does that make you feel?
Apparently you weren't aware of the fact that they are the founders and primary intitial code contributors for the Linux and GNU projects respectively. Neither project would even exist without them. The reason you're not even going to be taken seriously by people who agree with the principle of your statement is that what you just said is akin to saying something like "Christianity would have been so much better if Jesus had never gotten involved" or "orbital trajectories would be so much easier to establish if it weren't for all the gravity."
I'm just stating this for the benefit of the rest of the crowd. I'm pretty sure you're the one trolling here too. Nobody could be this clueless and opinionated.
On the other hand, I would have given almost anything to change the path of my life so that I could have one day become someone important enough to the kernel project that Linus felt obligated to yell at me when I did something wrong, and I've quit jobs I was actually paid for over as trivial of issues as parking availability. Being yelled at by someone who is earnestly trying to make you better sure beats being trivialized, sidelined, or backstabbed for being too good and thus threatening to upset the status quo amongst more tenured but lazier, less ethical and just plain worse coders any day of the week.
If you follow the link from google (search for "wii u sells out" or the like) it works and has full article text. WSJ must be doing something shady with the referrer header.
Note: I am not a physicist.

All Hail Discordia!!!

Except that is completely inaccurate as well. Its neither nonexistent nor too slow to be usable. I just used it to post this to prove that.
I think you meant this to be a reply to Grishnakh or thegarbz. I agree with you.

with the introduction of KMS Intel i8xx broke completely
Try passing no-hlt to the kernel command-line.
... like network transparency actually don't even exist any more...
Uh, how sure are you of this?
You mean changes like automatically reporting all search queries directly to Amazon? Keep on astroturfing...

Yea, what he said.
Incidentally they're also reporting it to Dice.com

I had almost forgot about it too.
sure.
as long as you steal the solar panels.
Someone blew it up on purpose.

One of us does, that's for sure...
Followed shortly thereafter by the USPS, unless Amazon just outright buys them.

... what do we replace all our database password hash columns with now?

That the Wii U is a flop is a matter of fact, not opinion. Just look at the sales figures, it's selling worse than the Gamecube.

My research suggests you're flat out lying.
