Right, I misspoke. Thanks for the correction. I agree with the fact of centralizing the software suite to reduce cost in business practices. I agree streamlining apps is the way to go, however there are going to be downsides to this as well. You can't forget that even though you're centralizing the entirety of the software suite, we then fall into a issue of having developer platform utilities side by side with the front desk secretary. In other words instead of going out and purchasing, let's say, a Xen license to run a cluster of VMs (as my company does). They're pushing to trump the VM industry with their own software. How this differs from the rest? I haven't the slightest clue. I honestly don't think it's even worth looking into. All they can say is the the VM Manager will reduce your budget to a fraction of what it is with the competitor, but isn't that the whole point of capitalizing on technology????

Why not put more effort in back checking I/O operations rather than adding more data to the stream? Is this a band aid fix? Apparently not in the eyes of Oracle..

Yes, it was a joke but in all fairness you can't possible believe that Nintendo would condone the use of the equipment where by allowing "writeable DVDs to be read in emulators" made available by a homebrew IOS changes?? Seriously that's anticipating piracy, ANYONE can figure that out.
Can't believe this is finally happened! I wonder how long it will take Nintendo to retaliate and apply a patch. What does it normally cost to get out of jail with that above your head?
Is recycling the same title over and over again supposed to help our environment? Wouldn't it be nicer to start by using the same engine and begin with a new storyline and character creation? Is it THAT difficult to start a game concept?

You know, I caught this letter and read it prior to seeing the article on SD and I have to say, I really thought it was a hoax, maybe some masked wannabe "anti-violent-video-games-hater". But oh no?! I was really, really wrong. How can constant insult after insult really bring down the empire of best sellers? Maybe he should play "Bully", it might offset his psychopathic mood a tad bit...

Bugs specific to security? There are still several exploits concerning the metadata itself. And on top of that, Secunia has multiple cases of vulnerabilities concerning all versions of the Oracle Database. All the way from Database Restriction Bypassing to boundary errors leading to buffer overflows by user initiated malicious attacks.
