I was thinking of hosting a website with Go Daddy, I decided to go with IXWebHosting instead. I wonder how much business they are losing? It's not like they get lots of ignorant people who know nothing about whats going on.
You must not have any kids, because you make it sound all too easy. It takes my wife the whole day to do her shopping, especially when you have a 2 year old, and you have to travel 40 min. one way. I'm sure we could make our time a little more efficient but my point was that "It's difficult to eat organic these days". It's more expensive, and it takes more time to prepare. If we were farmers this would be no problem.
There is nothing I hate most, is seeing retired people with no kids, who have their homes all neat and landscaped, eating only healthy food, and wonder why we don't live like them!
If you live a busy life, organics can be difficult to find. At work I can't just run to the grocery store and whip up some organic meal in the kitchen. Normally we try to prepare foods at home to take to work, but both my wife and I work full time, and we have two kids, so finding time to do all this is difficult. What we need are fast food restuaranst willing to sell organic ready to eat meals.
Also, Walmart carries a very limited selection of organic foods, and even then it's not 100% organic. We are all poisoning ourselves because of over population!
Being in charge of an IT department for a law firm, I can understand your needs. Management doesn't really understand the IT needs of a company, because they don't understand how information flows, or the need for having information available at all times, and keeping that information secure. I've seen small businesses pay some IT person to come in now and then to fix problems, but no one is monitoring their systems, making sure systems are setup properly, and upgrading current infrastructure to keep up with changes. The IT department is there to maintain, upgrade and research the current infrastructure. The benefits of having an IT department will only be realized when you see how much more capable the company is in the next few years.
This question shouldn't be what food groups you should eat, but what exactly is in the foods you eat! Most foods on the market are contaminated with chemicals, antibiotics, hormone drugs, pesticides, artificial flavors, GMOs, etc. etc.. The only way to be healthy is to eat organic, and that's becoming increasingly difficult to do these days.
Netflix works in XBMC but it's very cumbersom, and XBMC has no BluRay support. I tried getting PowerDVD9 to work with XBMC but got so frustrated I gave up. I like the Interface but without real Netflix , Hulu, and BluRay support, it just doesn't do it for me.
I do like the new XBOX interface with Kinect, if Microsoft provides more content and Skype for XBOX, it may out-do all the compitition. With the Kinect you can just speak to the XBOX and tell it what your looking for. I just don't like having to pay for a Gold Subscription every year.
I've also been trying to find the perfect Streaming TV box, but its tough because there's not much out there that does it all. I like Roku for it's simplicity but it lacks DLNA and I really wanted something that could also play BluRay. I also own a Logitech Revue which is the worse thing I ever purchased, even after the upgrade. I like XMBC, it has a nice interface and lots of plugins but no native apps for Netflix or Hulu, I know you can make netflix work but it's very cumbersome. Also, XMBC doesn't nativly play BluRay, you have to install thirdparty software and that's a pain to make work. Windows Media Center is primarily what I use right now but it lacks the plugins that XBMC has.
I'm really looking forward to Windows 8 Media Center, I'm hoping it will be much better and will be all I need.
Maybe, but if you proceed no further than observation, you end up with something like religion. So I would think that science would be the steps you take after observation.
I think Science has to be more than just observation. I can observe the Aurora lights but still have no idea what’s going on. I think you have to analyze and test observations and theories until you get results that are concrete.
It depends on who makes the predicition, but I do believe 2012 will be in favor of Android devices. The problem has been a lack of competitive products to compare with Apple. Now that there is something cheaper and better than an Apple iPad or Phone, many users will give Android a try. Some of the things Android has going for it that Apple lacks are:
More open source platform - easier for developers to build apps. Example is Emulators, no emulators availbe for Apple products because of strict guideline from Apple. Android is more flexible, you can change things up and personalize you device, and the cost being a major factor for many people.
I purchased an iPad for my wife early this year because there wasn't much else, but if I had to make that choice again next year - I would buy an Android tablet instead.
Intel IGP has the fastest encoding of all other GPU's if you have software that support Quick Sync. Intel has come a long ways but it's mostly geared for HD video not gaming.
This is good news for many who are looking for bargain Video Cards. I recently purchased a GT240 on Newegg for $40 which performs as well as a Geforce 8800 sold for $600 a few years ago.
It use to be that Overclocking was done to save cost of upgrading your PC. I remember owning a Celeron 300 processor and was able to overlock to 450Mhz with little effort. This was a huge cost saving versus buy a Pentium II 450mhz. Today, it makes no sense to overclock since you can't get much more speed versus buying a new cpu or motherboard. A lot of software today is dependant on multithreading, GPU, and memory versus actual clock speeds.
My recent cpu hack was unclocking a Phenom III (3 core) to (4 cores). This saved my some money and provided me the same product as purchasing a quadcore.
Every time the DNC tries to pull some dirty trick like this it back fires on them. IMO all these politicians are dirty because they all work in a cesspool of corruption.
It's about convenience and eas of use. I work for a Law Firm and when one Attorney purchased and iPhone and iPad, then all the Attorneys wanted one after seeing what they could do with it, and how easy it was to use. They all had BB phones and were amazed how much better the iPhone was. They don't think about security, it's all about convenience.
RIM has nothing to offer to bring iPhon and Android users over. Their user base consists of Hard Core BB users and a few people who never had a SmartPhone and will take the risk and try one out. US Cellular used to have about 6 different BB phones last year, now it's down to just 1.
That's not true. If you data becomes corrupt on a Hard Drive in a raid set becuase of a bad sector, it will not duplicate over to the good Hard Drive. That's what Checksum was for. Each file on the Hard Drive is checked by the Error Checksum Value and if it doesn't match, than that file is flagged as bad.
Raid was never meant for Backup, Raid is to provide High Availability and YES it does provide Reliability. It makes your data more Reliable in the event one drive fails. The whole point of redundant raid is the fact that Hard Drives fail at such a high rate, it takes 2 hard drives to make your data reliable and available at all times. Raid will never correct mistakes you make or Windows crashing.
Probably salvaging some of the Hard Drives that were flooded, and YEA, they can't afford to replace BAD Hard Drives with limited stock. Today's Hard Drives fail at such a high rate, you almost have to setup Raid Redundancy in your PC!

Most of the chemicals you find a junk food are not fit for consumption, or it's just another bi-product of corn.

I'm not a farmer, but I would think Hydroponics farms should solve the problems of insects and disease and still be organic.

Sounds like they borrowed this from the movie Andromeda Strain.

It's not out yet, we are waiting for them in 2012.

What started out as Philosophy and turned into Physics, now has gone back to be Philosophy again because it's too weird and difficult to understand.

It would be cheaper and safer to buy 2 Low Cost Hard Drives and Raid them, than buying an expensive Hard Drive wth extended warrantees!
